Chapter 12 Courtney

After getting the plants to make the potion we headed back to the office to fix it.  I have to say that hanging with Wayne and his dad has been fun and sad at the same time.  There is so much love that it makes me miss my family my pack.  I always felt that day I should have died with them, but just maybe this was the reason why.  

"It is, Selene has a great plan for us and a family just believe and take a leap of faith'" Iris says

She is write even now all I want is my mate.  I wonder how her mother will act if I will be accepted by her and the former Alpha.  If only we had time since James has to be a time killer.  Wayne is very curious and a quick learner.  After showing the first dose of how to do it he has took over.  He is so giddy and laughing and his dad just jokes with him.  Beta Justin loves his son but you can see the wisdom of battle with him while Wayne still innocent in that.   

"You think Alex is gonna live after Luna finds out that we knew before her?" Wayne asks his farther

"Knowing your Luna she will live but have a war wound from her.  She is her only cub and anyways I know she looked for herself.  I felt her when she was in me looking." his dad says

"Felt her?" I ask.  Who feels I am thinking there is the mind link but it does not work that way as in reading memoires.  

"Yes felt.  When Alex mom became Luna she was gifted with this mind power.  None of us are sure why but she gained the ability to see memories in the minds she has met.  These two hate it since that means even if they got me and the Alpha to believe there was no getting it over on Luna.  It has served the pack well many times we just never knew how or why she got this gift." Beta Justin say

Wow....I have never heard of anyone besides the Red Moon Pack having any gifts and no wolf I know of has that gift.  I wonder what bloodlines are actually in this pack.

"We need to find out when this is over.  If they have magic out side of the wolf blood it could be targeted like we were." Iris says

"I agree we just need to get this threat over with no since sniffing around when we don't have the time and we know there is a mole" I say

I was so lost in thought I did not notice that Alex and an older woman had came in till Alex had me in her arms and the sparks flew as she nuzzled my neck.

"I missed you" Alex says

"I missed you too.  Wayne is fun though he like a baby cub on Christmas learning the potion." I say laughing

"Excuse me daughter of mine get out of my way you can have her to yourself later my turn!" the older lady now that I know is her mother. She pushes Alex off me which makes Alex growl while she embraces me in a hug

"Alex if you growl at me one more time I will make you not be able to walk for a week and you know I can do it missy so shut that snout of yours and play with the boys.  You owe me daughter so at least let me have one up on your farther!!!" she says with a spark in her eye 

"Alex baby introduce me to your mother and play with the boys.  I really think your mother means business and no offence I want a walking mate not a non walking one.." I say laughing and she goes red as a tomato when I got pay back sending imagines to her as she did earlier to me.

"Fine.... mother Courtney...Courtney this is my up to know good mother that I love Patti.' she says pouting as she goes to the boys 

"Hello Luna it is nice to meet you and sorry for they boys knowing first" I say

"I understand dear but after this we are going on a family trip to see my husband and as much as I hate the boys knowing first I did beat my husband cause I met you first he is so mad he not here right now he told me to say welcome dear and that he is excited to meet you and welcome to the family." she says hugging me

Family I have a family now I know this Iris is purring like a child in her arms I might not have my family but I have my mates family my family.  James will never take them at all cost he dies. She pulls away and looks in my eyes

"You have a home now child and family we are not going anywhere ask your mate we all up her butt 24/7" she says kissing my cheek 

"My love she right your home but now it game time.  Mom you know what to do.  Beta Justin has left two top guard knowing part of the plan with the mole not the attack they will be with you mom. Three guars will come with us and my love Wayne is to stay at your side all time okay me and the beta are the best fighters which means Wayne is too okay love?" Alex says

"I understand lets get going" I say

We walked out the door thinking war time.
