I slowly opened my eyes because I felt extremely thirsty. My vision was so blurry, things seemed to double until my eyes recovered.
Where am I?
I quickly scanned the room. A very wide white-themed room greeted me. My eyes widened.
How did I end up here? I don't remember going to a place like this.
I immediately got up and the image of Feros automatically crossed my mind.
W-where is Feros?
I stood up and only then did I notice that my clothes were different.
Who dressed me up?
I furrowed my brow because this wasn't what I was wearing before I passed out. I quickly opened the door and my eyes widened as I realized I was in a castle.
How am I going to get out of here?! Ugh!
Out of annoyance, I messed up my hair, but I quickly stopped when I heard a man laughing.
I immediately looked to see where it was coming from. And I saw this man leaning his back against the wall. His hands were in his pockets, and he was smiling as he looked in my direction.
"Hey! Am I that handsome?" he said with a smirk.
I raised an eyebrow at his comment. Wow! Is there a storm coming?
"Hahaha!" I sarcastically laughed.
"You're right, you're too handsome! So handsome that you should be slapped against the wall!" I retorted, feeling irritated.
"I'm really handsome!" he arrogantly said, but why do I see resentment and longing in his eyes? "Even the wall is bowing down to me!"
I just closed my eyes, trying not to tease him, but I couldn't hold back.
"Excuse me! Ha! Why are you so arrogant? You're not even good-looking, look at your face, you look like a booger!" I pointed to his face. I wanted to slap him!
I was surprised when he walked towards me.
But I didn't flinch at his threat if he had any ill intentions. But when I saw his wicked grin, I shuddered.
I was about to run, but I was shocked when a creature suddenly appeared in my path.
A Saber-toothed Tiger?
I gasped in fear.
I looked back at him in anger, but I almost sat down as he almost kissed me, since his face was just inches away from mine when I turned around.
"W-wait! What are you doing!?" I fought back my fear because it felt like he was about to attack me any second.
I could feel his breath on my face, so I quickly turned my face away from him. I also noticed that his Saber-toothed Tiger guardian was beside me.
"You're red," he said, and I immediately pushed him away. He was really annoying!
He burst into laughter and ended up kneeling on the floor while holding his stomach.
There's nothing funny, just irritating!
"Hahaha! You've just seen your tomato face, hahaha!" Oh, go ahead and laugh until you run out of breath!
My vision darkened because he wouldn't stop laughing. I was about to approach him to kick him, but someone grabbed my clothes, making me lose control.
When I looked, it was his guardian!
"You moron!" I yelled at him while struggling, but I noticed my feet were lifted off the ground.
His guardian is lifting me! This is bullsh*t!
"Oh! I can't believe this Zero, what do you think you're doing? You shouldn't have done this thing?" I quickly looked back to where the voice came from.
A familiar girl, she's the one I saw before I passed out.
He stopped laughing in front of me, and his guardian disappeared, causing me to fall on the floor.
"Damn it!" I shouted in pain.
I massaged my backside and stood up, glaring at the annoying guy who had lost his playful demeanor from earlier and his irritating presence.
"Sorry for Zero Thunder, that's just how he is sometimes, irritating," the woman speaking said. Actually, she looked like she was in her late thirties, but she still had a youthful vibe. The annoying guy seemed to be below twenty.
"Oh, I am Aurora Smith, one of the Ultron Masters," she smiled at me, so I smiled back, trying not to seem like I have no social life but I was puzzled when she mentioned the term Ultron Master.
"I'm Kim Dwight," I paused briefly, debating whether to ask her about it or not, "Ahmm.. What is an Ultron Master?" I asked.
She smiled as if she knew what I was going to ask.
"It seems you don't know much about the world you're in," she started walking, so I followed.
"The Ultron Masters train the Garcae," so there's this in this world too. Suddenly, the image of Feros, which disappeared from my mind earlier because of that Zero guy, came back to me!
"Uhhmm.. Miss Aurora," she glanced at me briefly because of my question. "About Feros--I mean my guardian, did Gajeel and Zeraffina's followers get them?" I nervously asked.
What if they actually got Feros? What could possibly happen?
"I'm glad to hear your guardian's name, but to think of it, he's safe," I breathed a sigh of relief when she said that.
"Anyway, how do you know about Gajeel and Zeraffina?" I stopped at her question.
What should I answer? Should I say that there's a girl guiding me in my dreams? That she's showing me how to bring out Feros? What should I do? Whatever!
"Actually---" I didn't finish my answer because something caught our attention.
"Aurora!" a mestizo man came out of the room. We passed by wearing glasses. He smiled at us. He looked at me first, then at my back, so I turned to see.
Zero was silently following me.
"Is he the one you're referring to?" I looked back at the man with glasses who slightly pointed at me.
"Yes! He's Klein," Aurora introduced me to the man she called Klein.
"Oh, I see..." he glanced at me properly and suddenly remembered something.
"I think I've seen her before," I was puzzled by what he said. How could that be when I haven't even seen him yet. Just now!
"Me too!" I looked back at Zero as he spoke up.
"Really?" Miss Aurora's face brightened as if she was excited about what she had heard.
"I can't remember where or when!" Mr. Klein replied.
"I remember she was here almost sixteen years ago," I glanced at Zero, raising an eyebrow. I looked at him with a 'what-are-you-talking-about' look, but he just ignored it.
"Wow! Zero, it means you grew up here, Kim?" Miss Aurora looked so excited.
"Huh? I don't remember anything like that, excuse me, I grew up in the Lurca Division, right?" I gave Zero a dirty look as if he was saying all sorts of nonsense.
Miss Aurora's smile faded while Zero and Mr. Klein looked puzzled.
"Do you have amnesia?" Zero furrowed his brow, as if my earlier statement was a huge joke. He really didn't want to believe it.
I rolled my eyes at him, thinking he had forgotten what he had done earlier. Hell No!
"Am I going to laugh? I'm just telling the facts, don't make me look stupid!"
"Why are you getting mad? I'm just asking?!" his voice also raised.
"You're just getting annoyed! Just admit it, right!?" I retorted. I don't know. My head is getting hot because of him.
"Well---" I didn't let him finish.
"Short-tempered!"
"Both of you shut up!" I immediately stopped when a woman passing by interrupted us with her chilling voice.
That voice reminds me of someone. That lady in a white cloak, in my dream.
We fell silent, and when I looked at Zero, he glared at me so intensely, but I just rolled my eyes at him.
"By the way, that's Violet," Miss Aurora pointed to the woman who passed by and entered the double-door.
"And you know what? You and Zero look so sweet together," Miss Aurora teased, giggling as if she was getting giddy.
Mr. Klein just shook his head at Miss Aurora's teasing towards us.
"I'm going..." Mr. Klein said, winking at Miss Aurora. Miss Aurora just rolled her eyes, but she seemed to bite her lip.
"So for now on... Zero, help your new student to the whole place of this castle," Miss Aurora said with a mischievous smile, but my attention was not on what she said but on the part that she mentioned... Zero assist your new student.
What does this mean? Is Zero also an Ultron Master? But how come he looks like he's only eighteen?
"You're also an Ultron Master?" I asked Zero.
"Why, do you have a problem?!" he asked arrogantly.
"Oh my heart!" Miss Aurora teased again.
I don't feel like Zero being an Ultron. It's like nothing.
"How come?" I asked him, but he just gave me a death glare! Ugh! So annoying.
W-wait, what does Miss Aurora mean that I will be the student of that i***t! No! I can't! I need to escape from here. i***t is so stressful!! Ugh!
"Uhm... Miss Aurora, where is the way out of the castle? I think I need to go back to Lurca Division?"
Miss Aurora rolled her eyes, as if her eyes were saying 'oh really?'
"Where are you going to go, huh?" Her question hit me.
Where am I going to stay? And maybe Gajeel and Zeraffina's men will chase me again to get Feros?
I just massaged my head.
"Then you should stay here, okay? Bye bye! Take care of her, Zero," Miss Aurora said before leaving.
"Miss Aurora, wait!" I called out, but she entered where Miss Violet had been earlier, the place with the cold-voiced woman.
I faced this i***t, "Now what?!" I replied sternly with crossed arms.
He looked at me angrily. "Are you willing to stay here then leave us dumbfounded again?" His voice sounded sad, causing me to furrow my brow.
Ugh! What he's saying is really dizzying!
"Can you stop!? I already told you earlier that I grew up in Lurca Division, not in this fuckin' castle!" I snapped at him, which made him quiet for a moment, but soon he spoke again, this time more seriously.
"Okay, follow me! But remember, your training will start tomorrow, and you will be my student!" I was stunned when he said that.
Is he serious?
And I just followed him because I had no choice. Damn it!
