I saw the joy in Miss Violet's eyes, but what I want to know is why she is so close to Snow. And according to Mr. Klein, Miss Violet treats Snow as her daughter?
After that incident, I felt a soft touch on my forehead. I heard a soft and husky voice whisper through my ear. I couldn't believe if it was true because it might just be my imagination. He whispered those words, "Forget me at this moment and don't worry, we will see each other soon."
That voice was so relaxing. I don't even know how I defeated Miss Violet. I can't even imagine myself fighting her and surviving that training. All I can remember is fighting the insane creatures. I don't know how I fought those creatures and killed them all. I just shook my head at my thoughts. Maybe I just easily adapt to the different things I encounter.
I am currently scanning each page of the book. According to Miss Aurora or Miss A, since I passed the training session with Miss Violet, she said I must study the Garcae's History. Unfortunately, I'm studying the history of the Garcae right now in the huge library inside this castle. My attention was caught by just one word.
"Vampiric Auras," when I read that word, my curiosity consumed me.
"Vampiric Auras---the strange immortals who reside in hidden places around the world. They are usually only seen during a full moon. They are harmful creatures and besides being strong and powerful like the Garcae who have powers and guardian animals, Vampiric Auras also have power and the most interesting thing is, instead of having a guardian, they have animal senses and abilities. In one second, they can run to any place they desire. They are more commonly known as Vampires." I became very interested in what Vampiric Auras can do. I was about to continue reading when warm arms enveloped me from behind.
"Hey! Can you please remove your arms!" I exclaimed, so he quickly let go of me.
"I just miss you so much..." I heard him whisper. I don't know why, but I felt a tinge of sadness upon hearing those words from him. I just sighed as he sat in front of me. Actually, there is a round and huge study table inside their library.
"Did you say something?" I asked him without any violent reaction.
"Nothing..." he smiled, but even with that sweet smile, I could see that he wasn't happy. Since Miss V started teaching me, I noticed a big change in Zero. His serious mood turned jolly, but his arrogance and mischief sometimes never disappeared.
"Anyway, what brings you here, Zero?" I asked as I continued reading the book. I noticed his frown, as if he didn't like how I addressed him. His jolly expression reverted to his old self.
"Did you say something?" he asked sharply, but the serious tone never left.
I just rolled my eyes. "Do you need something?" I asked again, but with a different tone.
"I want to hear the last words you said earlier before you asked your second question," he asked seriously. I actually wanted to tease him for what he was doing. I just smiled at him.
"Oh, that? Sorry, I forgot," I said, scratching my head, which made his frown deepen.
"Are you kidding me?" there he goes again. I just shook my head.
"Nope?" with my answer, he stood up and approached me.
"What do you think you're doing?" I nervously asked, especially when he was just five inches away from me. He slightly leaned down to be at eye level with me, which made me more nervous.
"H-hey, what's with you?" I blocked his face with the book I was holding, but he effortlessly stopped me. I still tried to push him away, but he only brought his face closer to mine. I felt even more anxious seeing his emotionless face.
"S-stop it!" I covered my face with my hands, but he managed to hold them to stop me. I tried to push him away, but he only brought his face closer to mine. I swallowed hard when I noticed his gaze on my lips. I felt frozen in my seat, knowing that in just a few inches, what I expected would happen. He was about to kiss me for real, but I snapped back to reality. I quickly turned my face away from him, feeling my cheeks heat up. I could feel his breath on my cheek, and at that moment, a loud laughter echoed through the entire library.
"Hahahaha! You've just seen your face!" I saw him laughing while holding his stomach. Ugh! Was that a good joke?!
I glared at him, "I-I'm so sorry, I can't help it! Hahahaha!" I stood up quickly and as I approached him, a loud slap resonated in the library.
*SLAP!!!*
"Ugh! Damn!" he immediately held his cheek, which I hit, and he looked at me angrily, which I reciprocated.
"That's not a good joke," I said, taking back the book he took from me earlier and left him behind. He remained speechless at what I did. I approached the shelf where I got the book and returned it.
"Don't do that again!" I looked at him again and started walking. His pained expression earlier turned into a grin as he shook his head.
"You've changed a lot, but I still miss your red cheeks when you're blushing," I immediately stopped in my tracks. Did he see my cheeks turn red? Ugh! I hate him!
I quickly looked at him because of what he said. He still had that smirk. Earlier, I wanted to tease him by calling him by his name without formalities, but then I got angry at what he did because I don't know! I didn't like that kind of joke. I felt like slapping him; I felt like he was disrespecting me. I slapped him in anger even though he's still an Ultron.
"Don't you dare to repeat that prank!" I glared at him, but it seemed like he wasn't threatened by what I said. I just avoided his gaze and continued walking. Before I could leave the door, I heard his last words, even though they were faint.
"We will be together. I'll make sure of it."
