The Runaway Bride

Chapter 3

"Where do you take me?" I looked at him and asked.

He is focusing on the road and drively carefully. What the hell! I left the work just to go with him.

"Stop here" I said calmly but he didn't stop.

"I SAID STOP!" I shouted for him to stop and he did.

he hit the steering wheel. "What the f**k Elysse!" He shouted.

"I left my work to go with you and I don't know where will you take me!"

"I'll take you to the place for you to refresh" he said.

I sighed. "Do I look like a desktop?" I seriously ask him.

he laughed.

"You freaking arrogant are wasting my time!"

I tried to open the car door but I can't I slammed the door and faced him.

"What the hell you want from me? The first time we've met you insulted me and now you are helping me just because someone do nasty on me?!" I finally said so too.

"I didn't help you" he coldly said

BURN ASTRID!! BURN!

"Then get the f**k me out off here!"

"Your mouth"

I was so annoyed to him but I couldn't do anything.

"Can you please bring me back to the hotel" I'm trying to calm myself.

"You really want to see him" he sarcastically said.

The way he said that made me think that he insult me or what. We stopped at the side of the road because I had shouted earlier but now he was driving the car again.

"You like him than your fiancè?" He asked.

"Who him you talking about?"

"Felix"

"As what I've said to all of you I didn't have the chance to meet that fiancè thing you are talking about" I said.

"If you have the chance to meet him you'll change your mind?"

do we really talk about that? because me I don't want to talk about what happened back then.

"Just drive" the only I could tell.

He is looking so serious on the road his eyebrows met and you can actually tell that he is angry.

"why do you avoid talking about your fiancé?" He asked without looking at me.

"Because of him I have no freedom in life because of him everything has changed. Are you happy now??" I couldn't help but raise my voice again.

"You really hate him"

We never had a talks throughout our trip until we arrived at our destination. It's a great sight to see the whole coron I did not come near the end of the place because I was afraid of heights.

"Come here Elysse" he called me.

"I'm okay here"

I can still see the view from here I watched him looking so far he seems to have a serious problem.

"Do you have a problem?" I asked.

"how can you tell?"

"I can see it in your face"

He slightly smiles.

"Where did your bride go?" It's my turn Reagan.

"Here"

"That's why you're here?"

he shook his head in disapproval then my eyebrows met because of what he do.

"Then why?"

"I unexpectedly saw her here and actually I do not know her too. But when I met her she changed her Identity and I think she was falling In love with another men"

While he saying that he is looking at me intensely and by what he tell it seems like his bride same as me.

"You know her name---the real name?"

"Yes her family told me"

I want to tell him that I changed my name too, but it seems like something is stopping me from talking.

Fortunately, I brought my cellphone. I felt my cellphone vibrate and I got a message from you jade

Jade

Where are you?"

I didn't reply to her text. instead I approached Reagan but it was just behind it him. He pulled me to his side but still held his hand.

"Wait I'm okay here"

he did not listen to what I said and held me in my neck.

"Sir" It's so embarrassing that he's doing we are not the same.

"Don't call me Sir anymore" he said and leaning on me.

I covered his face with my palm and put it away and I laugh at his reaction.

"Don't be too closed Sir"

"Did my handsome face bothered you?"

I laughed out loud at the handsome face he said.

"Handsome face? Are you sure?"

"Yes! There are lots of women chase this face and I didn't mind them"

"You're really proud" I said and laughing at him.

I didn't get bored talking to him he has plenty of topics to talk about.

"Where you from?" He asked.

"Here"

"Are you sure? Seems like you're not telling the truth"

"I am?"

he just laughed at me and looked me in the eyes for a few seconds I have noticed he has a brown eyes and his lashes are quite long.

"You are beautiful" He said without removing his eyes from me.

I chuckled. "I don't have a coins" I joke.

"What is your work?" I asked him.

"I owned a big company In Manila"

"Then you don't have plan to go back?"

"I'll be back there if my fiancè will falling inlove with me" he seriously said.

"Then why are you with me and want to see me?"

"I don't know I just want too"

He is really a playboy and he wants me to be one of his bullshits. It was getting dark and the cold air embrassed my body he put a jacket at my back to protect it from the cold.

"Why are doing this?" I asked him.

"What?" He said with a curiousty look.

"Don't play me Reagan"

"I'm not playing Elysse"

he sits next to me and holds a bag it has a soft drinks and other junk foods. Amazing! He really planned this day.

"Do you like felix?"

"A little bit" I lied.

"He was lucky then" and drink.

It takes a few seconds for us to talk again I'm not really a talkative besides I didn't want to be with anyone except felix but whenever Reagan is around I feel different my heart always race and I don't know why.

I don't know why I gave him the chocolate I ate.

"Try this, its delicious" he ate it then.

"Do you love your ex fiancè?" suddenly I asked.

"Yes but I'm falling for someone now" he asnwered.

I slapped his arm.

"What?!" he was shocked and laughed at what I did.

"You said you love her and then you are falling inlove with another woman what a jerk!"

I threw the bag away from him and immediately stood up I had a bad feeling when he said that so maybe I beat him.

'You cannot fall for him Astrid! It can't be!" I remind myself.

he wrapped his arm around my waist so that I could face him we were only a few feet away I can feel his breathe in my face.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Its already night Reagan and Jade might looking for me now"

I hugged her so that we wouldn't fall my heartbeat seems to be restless what are you doing with me Reagan? He slowly bring his face towards my face and kissed me. Every kiss he had was careful and he seemed to taste my lips and my arm sneaked around his neck to kissed him back.

We just broke the kiss when my cellphone rang we looked at each other before I could answer the phone.

"F-felix?"

"Where are you?" He said in low toned.

"I'm still with...Reagan"

"Okay"

he was silent and I heard a c***k from the other line.

"Felix?! Are you okay?"

Panicking field my mind I do not know if he is okay or not.

"We need to get back now" I worriedly said to Reagan.

"You really care about him" he said sarcastically.

"Reagan!"

"Okay find"

We got into his car immediately I was worried about him. He didn't say any of his problem to me.

"Jade?"

I don't have any choic but to call Jade maybe she knows where felix is right now.

"Where are you Elysse?!" She shouted.

"Why is there any problem?" I asked her.

Reagan took my hand and turned to me.

"Loudspeaker" he whisper.

He was already driving but we don't know where felix is.

"Sir felix was mad when you left with sir reagan" Jade said.

"Reagan--I mean Sir Reagan already talk to him"

"I don't know he cancelled all his meetings and beat some of the boys here"

I didn't know he would be so angry and he would beat some boys of the hotel. For what? Just because I left without permission and be with Reagan.

Reagan was so focused on the road I don't know whT is going into his mind.

"Do you know where he is?"

"Hotel Bar"

He immediately made the car run and thank God there's no traffic at all. When we arrived Reagan stop me when I was about to Run.

"Let me handle this you can go home now"

"No I can't please"

He didn't argue with me anymore and we immediately ride right away into the elevation to the hotel bar.

the crowd was buzzing I didn't know there was a bar in the hotels Reagan was just holding me hand so I wouldn't get lost in the middle of the mess.

We saw felix drinking alone infront of the bar counter and the bat tender stopping him from drinking too much.

"Felix!" I shouted when we already behind him and so he can hear it.

"Felix I'm taking you home" Reagan said.

He is looking our hands that held together I immediately put my hand off in Reagan's grip.

"What are you doing felix?" I asked him.

"Drinking, drink this Elysse" he lend me glass of whisky but I didn't accept it.

Reagan get the glass out of my sight and come closer to felix.

"Lets go now bro"

"Tss."

He was forcibly taken by Reagan to the hotel bar he I was walking behind them. Felix employee are looking to him now he actually walking like a zombie Reagan served as his support.

We are already at the parking lot when Felix stood up straight and turn around to looked at me. He walk towards me and hold my face I was surprised at what he did, Reagan also came to us to prevent felix from anything he planned.

"I thought you like me?" He directly asked

"What?"

"Someone told me you like me and then you are with someone else?"

I know that he's drunk where did he get an Idea to aksked me this kind of question.

"Felix stop this" reagan was still calm.

"Shut up Reagan!" He is now facing Reagan.

"You jerk! You said you hate her because--"

"Shut up felix!" reagan has lost his patience with felix.

He immediately punched felix in the face.

"Reagan enough!"

Felix was out of balance and energy now he was lying on the floor of the parking lot and people that walk in the parking lot are watching us. I grabbed Reagan hands to prevent him from punching felix.

"Please stop! You are hurting him"

"f**k! You realky care about him!"

"Yes of course! Because of me he was mess Reagan! why don't you just help me bring him home"

I forced him to wake up but he was actually asleep instead of fighting Reagan and I just took felix home.

"Why are you so angry when i am concerned about felix?"

"Because I'm jealous" he simply said.

He must be crazy. "You are jealous but you someone else in your mind and heart. Tss"

He was speechless.

"Don't play a game with me just because you are older than me you can already fool me if you want too" I said.

"I don't play when someone else is playing"

Who is he blaming? On What he said is a kind of logic, I didn't get it right away and I can't even speak anymore.

I was quiet the whole trip.
