Chapter 16

"Hi astrid! How are you?" He said.

"I'm okay" I said.

"I have to go felix I still need to go somewhere" I added.

I was walking to the big city of Metro Manila and I didn't know where I was going but I only knew I wanted to go anywhere because it is my day today.

"Hello couz?" Bella called me when I cross a pedestrian lane.

"Yes"

"Where are you?" She asked.

"I want to tell you something?" Bella sounds excited.

"Just tell it here Bella" I said.

"I want it personal Couz"

"Okay find!"

Bella was in BGC and I was going to SM Mall just because she request us to meet there... do I have a choice? And she is at HappyWorld Museum Miracle Art I ride a taxi to be more faster and to end this agenda of her.

I called her. "Where are you?"

"At the entrance of the Museum" she said.

"Okay"

She just makes sure that what dhe says is important if not I'm going to hit her really hard.

I saw her looking at her phone and smiling.

"Hey b***h what is it?" I straightly asked her.

"Let's get inside" she invite me.

"What the hell Bella I should have enjoying my day" I said with annoyance.

She just smiled at me and get inside the museum... oh my god! Bella you are really unbelievable.

"Bella if you are bored don't implicate others" my mood never change.

"Don't you want to be with felix?"

"I want too, but... arggh!"

I do not know why she is like that I do not understand her we roam around and take a photo to those realistic art I admit it I do enjoy this kind of trip but not today I just want to spent my birthday alone.

Alone.

"Couz, on our next destination for sure you'll be enjoy" bell said.

"Bella don't waste my time I still need to go somewhere" I said.

But the truth is I want to go shoppine not here because all of the stuff here is expenesive... very expensive.

"Please Just give me an hour to be with you" she said with her palms are together.

"Childish" I said but not out loud.

"Please" she pleaded again.

"is there anything I can do?" I asked her sarcastically and rolled my eyes to her.

I wanted to enjoy what is bella's effort just for me to enjoy the with her but my mood today isn't that good.

Venice grand Canal Mall

"What are we going to do here?" I asked her.

"Let's take a photo and ride a gondola we're going to enjoy this astrid"

"Just tell me will you tell Bella" I said.

"Hah?" Her face form a curiousity look.

"I'll swear bella I will kill you" I threaten her.

"Just one last destination and I'll tell you astrid" she said.

On my own birthday I did not follow what I really want everything that bella said is what I follow.

We ride a gondola and after that we shop bella was the one who paid what did I buy everything I want atleast she successfully make me happy.

"Tell me now" I said.

After the activities we do. Bella and I decided to unwine but she said she has someone to visit in one of the five star hotel in BGC  where they celebrated bella's friend anniversary and her friend definetely a rich one. My foot hurts because the whole time I'm with bella we didn't stop even for awhile and just eat some foods walked in here we walk in there, we enter here and we enter there that's what we did and she's just the one who enjoying it.

"Please hurry Bella"

When the door open no one went outside even just peek us. Bella grab my hand and we enter the room together its dark I cannot see anything.

"Bella? Where are you?" I said 

Fucking s**t! No one responsing me. I do love black but what the hell I'm scared in dark.

"Bella this isn't funny!"

I wanted to cry but my tears are not falling and someone suddenly got into my mind that reminds me of what to do when I was in a dark area accidentally.

I closed my eyes and breathe deeply... relax astrid! I was about to walked into the door when the light suddenly open.

The be is full of red petals even on the floor candles are all lightning...

"How? W-What?" I can't even continue what I want to asked.

"Did you like it?" I immediately turn around to see who talk and its...

"Felix?"

"Happy birthday" he greeted me.

"This isn't a typical birthday surprise. What is this felix?" I asked and smiled.

"Romantic birthday surprise" he said and chuckled.

"... I like you astrid"  he added.

I didn't talk for awhile and just looking at him he didn't get back what he says.

"We talked about it felix, tita beatrice will be mad at me if she know that I have a boyfriend" I said.

"I can wait" he simply said.

"You can?" I asked.

"If you want too"

"Yes of course" I said and hugged him.

Everytime we saw each other I just ignore him and act as if we don't know each other. I wanted to tell him how much I love him that I wanted him to wait until I graduated and settle my own life.

After the celebration he drive me home but not infront of our house.

"See you tomorrow" felix said.

"See you, take care" I gave him a smock kiss on his cheeks.

"I want here" he said and point his pinkish lips.

"Limit" I simply said.

He already left and I was still outside of the house, I felt something different today I don't know there is something is not going to be right.

"Astrid!" I heard tita Beatrice called me.

"Tita?"

"Who are you waiting outside?" She asked.

"None, ah-Is bella here already?" I asked.

She left me there after she ruin my day, bella and felix talked about surprising me and the plan is bella will make me busy or do something to make me bother and if everything are prepared that's the time we'll met on that five star hotel... and they success!

"Okay" I said before entering the house.

I saw tito is watching television and behind my back is tita beatrice we are all busy. Bella is inside her room doing her thesis even this house is not a mansion we're not still seeing each other here except if we need to eat.

"Astrid I have something to tell you" tita beatrice seriously said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You're going to marry Reagan Huxley" she direcrly answered.

"W-what?... No you cannot tell who I want to marry tita beatrice" I said.

"Whether you like it or not the wedding is still going" she said.

"No!" I scream.

She come closer to me and slapped my face.

"You do not have the right to shout at me!" Tita beatrice shouted.

"But... I can't do.."

"Ma! We already talked about this you can't force someone to marry that is not meant for each other" Bella said.

She is standing on the tip of wooden stairs of their house.

"I can't cancel the wedding he gave me a money and all of his money I already spent on you" she said.

She start crying and sit on the sofa behind her.

"What did you do Beatrice!" Her husband shouted at him.

"Tito enough" I hold tito's arm to let him go away.

"Ma!" This time bella shouted too.

"Bella please"

"No astrid! She get that money without your permission... our permission as a family she let herself decide because she became blind by that money!" Bella is angry now.

Her father didn't react. I know he just don't want to get mad because he has a complications and it might be danger for him to shouted.

"I did that because of you" tita beatrice said.

"Because of us?" I want to asked her carefully Bella and her husband is very mad at her.

"I wanted to buy you your needs in school and to buy a medicine for your tito I asked help to Mr. Huxley but to pay him he doesn't want money he wants one of you to married him" tita beatrice explained.

"And then you choose astrid instead of me? That is embarrasing Ma! She's not your daughter, she may be abandoned by her parents but they didn't do it for money" bella said and startex to cry too.

"I know astrid can..." she didn't continue.

"Can what? Ma" Bella asked.

"Bella that's enough" her father command.

"How much did you get beatrice?" Her husband asked.

"2 million" she said and stooped down.

Tito had lost his sense to what tita beatrice said.

"Pa!" Bella called.

Tita didn't do anything I know she was regretting what she did but did she even think if what would be going to happen after getting that f*****g money.

"Let tito get inside the his room Bell, I'll talk to tita" I said to bella.

When they already inside the room I sighed deep and keep silent  for awhile I want to think what should we do solve the problem if...

I'm going to marry that man or stopped going to school and worked to pay.

"Please choose to marry him Astrid, he can sent you to a good school with no worries about the fees" tita beatrice suddenly said.

Did she read what I've thinking here? I can't believed her, she choose me instead of bella. Maybe she doesn't want to make her daughter suffer... but what about me?

"I will think about it tita" I said and left her alone.

What if my parents are here? Do they allow someone to manipulate them for money and marry someone their daughter doesn't want?

I badly wanted to see them again even in my dreams, I'm still hoping that they will come back and we will be happy again.

The other day I went to felix house and decided stay there for awhile it's weekend and I don't have much things to do.

"How much do you need to pay that man?" Felix asked.

"2 Million but don't worry I will decide what to do" I said.

"And you decided to marry him. Is that it?" He was facing the stove but he is facing me now.

"I still need to think felix"

I've notice everytime I saw felix his face became blurry I don't know why when we go to EO they said there's no problem on my eyes I can see clearly the letters even the smaller one.

"Arr you okay?" He worriedly asked.

"Yeah, by the way what are you cooking there?"

He was busy when I arrived on his house he has a big house you really noticed every thing your eyes saw is expensive even the chair that I'm sitting on.

"I'm making a pizza and adobo chicken becausebits nearly Lunch so I decided to cooked already" he answered.

"Why do you have so big house? wherein your family is not here" I asked.

"I'm the only child and they decided to stay in Canada" felix answered while took off the pan on the stove.

"This is so big" I said and look up to see the beautiful ceiling.

"It will be our home" he said and smile.

I looked at him with my eyes are little closed while he is put the adobo on the bowl and put in the counter.

"You don't want to be my wife?" He asked.

"We cannot say" I simply said.

After we ate our lunch we both decided to do shopping he'll treat me because of yesterday he ruin my supposed happiness.

"I was supposed to do shopping yesterday but you and bella ruin it" I said.

He's eyes focused on the road and just laughing every complaint came out on my mouth.

"I didn't have any Idea that Bella will make you tired that much" he said.

"So you really talked to bella and make me bother?"

"That was the first I talked to her" he said.

"Really?"

We arrived at the mall and when felix about to park hia car on the space and a white car are driving so fast and hit our car.

Everything went slowly the window glass of the car broke into pieces and I unclearly saw felix already unconcious the one small broken glass hit my eyes and... even a little pain I didn't feel I closed my eyes not because of that but because I am sleepy.
