Suddenly Alex froze and we heard a loud shout that rung through our ears,
"Don't move!!" Police barged in the throughout the door that I got here through, holding their guns and aiming it at their eye level, slightly bending their knees. I took this chance and elbowed Charles with all that I have got in his lower stomach, making him grumble in pain and clutch his stomach, loosening his grip around my shoulder. I spun and snatched the gun he was pressing against my head quickly and tried to free his grip. Suddenly, he firmed up his hand again and was starting to gain balance and come to his senses. I had a split second to think of what to do next to prevent him from taking the gun back. I followed my instinct and tossed the gun as far away as I was able to. Charles pulled away,
