No matter how devastating our struggles, disappointments, and troubles are, they are only temporary. No matter what happens to you, no matter the depth of tragedy or pain you face There is always hope. The light is at the end of the tunnel but sometimes it takes forever to reach the end nonetheless you will reach there no matter what as the hausa adage says sannu sannu bata hana zuwa sae dae a dade ba'a je ba. "mummy what are you thinking of, mummy don't say nothing please " jiddah taped her mother's shoulder. She smiled. Something she's fond of doing whether she's happy or sad. She always tey to hide her worries behind a beautiful smile of hers. "jiddah i can't share it with you less you will be broken more than me, just exercise more patient okay? One-day you will understand ". Did mummy took me as a child up till now? I'm twenty not two for Allah's sake. Jiddah said in her mind and smiled too, something she learn from her mummy, smiling " its okay mummy, i pray may Allah ease your pain the ones i know and the ones you refused to let me know" she chuckled. "sorry, i know it hurts to see me as your mother in pain and you don't know the reason why i know you have alot to say but you decided to keep quiet" "mumm? No there's nothing i understand " "if you want me to agree then stop batting your eyelashes " Jiddah laughed. ***** "Allow me please" he yanked his hand away from hajia's grip. "what do i do to you these days why do you not like me, my grandson "? Hajia questioned. "you deprived me my happiness" "i did, and its better you forget about her because I'm never changing my mind" with that she left for her apartment. "bros, just forget about this hajia, she's never more powerful than God. Pray hard, observe qiyamul layl and Allah will ease your affairs. Prayers do heal faster than everything, especially in this blessed month, Ramadan. Give charity to the needy and orphans and see wonders. Allah is mujeeb, sami'ud-du'a he promises to answer our prayers whenever we pray. Why don't you grab this opportunity and wrap hajia with du'as prayers and you know things will go the way you want them" ikram finished advising him. He couldn't help but feel better because what she offered was the best thing to do ever. He had no doubt about it . "but one more thing you have to know is if she's not destined to be your wife she will never be. At times we love things and its never the best for us but sometimes we hate things and they are the best for us. Everything had already been decreed, one could never escape his or her fate. And sometimes our prayers are not answered immediately, that is to test our faith not because of anything; to know whether we will endure or not. So lastly i will say exercise patience my dear brother " she added. "you have no idea of how your words lit up my spirit. I'm proud to have you as my sister. I never knew my sister is a great scholar." he joked . "that's the work of your girlfriend " she laughed and they continue to chat without realizing the adhaan was called as they all washed dates and fruits for their iftaar.. Dhahabaz-zama'u wabtallatil-uruq-wathabbatal-ajr-inshaAllah. He prayed, a prayer after breaking a fast. Words can be twisted into any shape. Promises can be made to lull the heart and seduce the soul. In the final analysis, words mean nothing to him these days but now words had lighten his mood. He smiled and walked out to the masjid. And there begins the prayers.
