"okay then" *********** "what a surprise visit, sister welcome" muhammad collided woth his sister on his way out. He collected her bag and ushered her in. "thank you" she placed her hand on his head making his curly hair messy. "ouch, that's so unfair you have no idea how many minutes i spent washing this hair plus dressing it, now i have to go back in" he feigned hurt. "so i have came and you are intending to go out!? No way" she grabbed him by his collar and squeeze his cloth. "give me that chocolate you are licking" she spoke referring to her son who stood beside her and the other one was sleeping on her back. She collected it hastily like she was going to lick too, but doom! She rubbed it on Muhammad's light blue caftan. "your son is looking at the way you are treating his uncle. Your husband is so unlucky to have you" he added screwing his face. Afterall, he was never angry because he just can't be angry with her, his soldier. "little come over here" he knelt down making himself the same height with his nephew, omar. The three year old omar giggled revealing his dimpled chubby cheeks and hid at the back of his mother's leg. "you see, he thought you were one horrible monster because omar is free with people. Ba shi da kyuiwa. " she said opening their father's apartment. "abee! I am home" she shouted, muhammad with omar in his arms trailing behind her. "do you know my name" muhammad asked little omar, pecking his cheeks. "yes you are my uncle muhammad" he said in a childish tiny voice. "yeah, high five me" muhammad put his palms together with omar's little ones. " would you like ice cream and more chocolate "? "yes i want but please don't tell daddy he don't want me to be taking sugary foods , he says my teeth will be rotten and eaten by chucha. Worms. " omar finished playing with Muhammad's hair. Muhammad listened to omar's gist in his childish voice, some words were audible while some were not audible. "whats chucha"? "uncle don't know chucha? " omar widened his eyes. "yes uncle doesn't know chucha. " "Uncle is kaslan" Muhammad laughed at the way the boy is so smart and wise. He remembered the word kaslan meaning dull. It was always used on him when the arabic school teacher asked him a question and he can't answered it. "chucha is that small thing that looks like snake that one day me and mummy saw it in salad and it is moving like this" omar demonstrated using his hands forming zigzags moves. Muhammad laughed and laughed so the boy means tsutsa, Worms. "granny must be looking for us lets go in" Muhammad picked him up and they heed to his mother's apartment. "so this dirty old woman is here" aisha spoke referring to hajia their grandmother. "yes i agree you are more dirtier than me" hajia teased back. Aisha laughed and said "let me get in, when i finish with everyone i will come back to you". "okay shatuwalle God bless you" hajia praised. "when should i be expecting our wedding " aisha asked sitting down close to Muhammad. "wedding,? I don't have a wife " he sadly spoke. "and what happened to jiddah" "we had a quarrel and it was my fault, i had apologized but it was in vain, i didn't give up though" he stated. "oh sorry to hear about that, its about temper control i guess" she tapped her chin. "yeah, i lost my temper on her while it was not her fault" "yes i know how you behave like lion sometimes" she chuckled. "that's too mean, aren't offering a sort of-erm.. Help" "i may decide to help depending on how you treat me before i go back to my house. I'm spending three days only. " ******* 2 years later Two years later, nothing changed . She didn't talked to him again and he didn't talked. Maybe they had accepted their fate to move on and get over everything or it is their ego that prevents them from talking to each other. Between them is just hello whenever they collided. "mummy i am done with my finals remaining convocation " jiddah leaped inside their room. "jiddah pack your stuffs we are leaving kano" Jiddah's mummy sniffed crying seriously.
