VIV’S POV I watched through the large window as Liv stormed out of the café, her back stiff with fury, her hands clenched into trembling fists. Damn it! That was satisfying. A grin pulled at my lips as I reached for my cup of latte, the scent of roasted beans and vanilla cream filling my nose. I deserved a proper breakfast, damn it. After the miserable morning I'd had, burning the waffles I made, then throwing them up thanks to this parasite growing inside me. I needed something good.
