“Hello.” I said tiredly into the mouthpiece.
My eyes widened in surprise and I immediately slammed my phone on the table and hurried out of the office. In ten minutes, my car was parked in front of Aaron’s condo.
He had gotten the apartment for himself, when he first began college. I didn’t pay much attention to it since I knew he needed some space for himself too.
But why on earth would he f*****g want to kill himself?
The moment I stepped through the door, the sharp tang of alcohol stung my nostrils, mingled with a faint metallic hint of blood.
