Kaelon’s POV I sat in the grand dining room, a quiet morning stretching in front of me. The soft hum of the city outside was muffled by the heavy curtains that lined the windows. It was rare that I could sit still, let alone have a peaceful breakfast, but this morning was different. There was no rush and for once, I could actually enjoy my coffee. The rich taste of it filled my senses, and I let the steam from the cup warm my face.
