I shook hands with Darwin and smiled. “I will be looking out for your next move. I hope it's going to be a bang.”
“Yeah, just be watchful and don't let anyone know what we discussed. This stays between you and me.”
A car pulled over, and Elena stepped out. I smiled, waving to her to come over but she looked shocked and ignored me.
“Oh, that was unexpected.” I whistled as she stormed into the company's building.
“Probably, she's not in a good mood,” he replied, opening his door. “I will see you around, Jasper.”
I waited until his vehicle was out of sight and returned to my office. Elena scoffed and continued pacing as I settled down, wondering what was wrong with her.
“What did Darwin come here for?”
“Are you interfering in pack business now?”
She rolled
