It’s been a week since Darwin attacked the pack and within that period, I met a good friend named Courtney. I smiled as she nodded across the table. We were out for a late breakfast after a long morning of shopping and meeting old friends.
Courtney was someone who knew what she wanted from life and worked hard for it. She reminded me of myself, maybe that’s why we clicked easily.
She was also a fun person, engaging and a great conversationalist. The best part of our friendship? We enjoyed the same hobbies and while I loved warm meals, she could eat hot ones without breaking a sweat. She also knew the best times to enter town and have fun.
