Freya’s POV
Marie had her eyes on me like he wanted to devour me. Rosa, on the other hand, stood in our middle.
“Leave her alone, Marie.” Her voice was calm, but I knew she wasn't. It was very obvious these two didn't see eye to eye.
Marie stepped back, looking at Rosa from head to toe, and she chuckled. “And who do you think you are? Just because you’re Orson’s sister doesn’t mean you can talk to me however you like.”
Rosa was much taller so she leaned low, a scowl on her face. "Leave her alone." She warned. “Because this isn’t about me, it’s about my brother. And let’s be honest, Marie—Orson has already found Freya. He won’t ever accept you, no matter how hard you try.”
Those words slapped Marie hard on the face. She raised her hand, clearly intending to strike Rosa.
