  Orson's pov   The council chamber was already filled when I arrived, the air thick with the scent of pride, ambition, and greed. I hated these meetings. Too much talk, too little action.   Today, however, the excitement was worse than usual. They were not speaking of war, not of territory, not even of treaties. They were speaking of the goddess wolf. The wolf that had appeared from nowhere, fought bravely then disappeared, leaving no traces on how to find it.   I leaned back in my chair, arms crossed, silent as always.
