You just wait

“You think I don’t deserve it, do you?” Eulo was maliciously grinning at her. “Well, sorry for Alice, she can’t do anything while I wear this.”

Just as she thought. The guy was indeed an asshole.

“And what about us, huh?” said Keisha who doesn’t seem happy that it was the only one with protection. “If anyone here deserves that kind of protection, it’s me,” It tried to take the bracelet from Eulo’s wrist. But the latter was a tall buff guy, that Keisha got pushed aside instantly.

Mar-jay helped her get up.

“It’s not my problem if you’re all going to die.  I earned this,” Eulo said flaunting the bracelet to his friend's face. “If you want to take this from me. You will have to kill me first,”

It stopped for a while, after hearing a terrifying voice of someone whispered in its ear.

“Just wait for it,”

It was Alice’s spirit. It immediately left after appearing for a while from behind Eulo.

The latter instantly felt the cold chills that creep out of its veins. As it turned to see who it is that said that. But there was no one.

Karma was the only one who saw Alice come in and in of there in a glimpse.

It could have been that its spirit is starting to get stronger with the rage it felt.

But what could be the reason behind it?

She was too sure that Alice committed suicide that day. And that was what her dreams told her.

“Who was that?” said Eulo.

The others are starting to get troubled as well.

“I don’t want to do this anymore.” Chigs was starting to get freaked out. And wanted to walk away. Wacko followed him out the same way.

“You should stay,” Karma told Eulo when it was about to leave. “That is if you still plan to live.”

Surprisingly, Eulo did stay.

After making a diagram to protect them from any unknown spirits.  

Karma told the others to stay in that circle. And not to move in any given situation.

“Are we going to call Alice’s spirit here?” Keisha asked.

“What do you think we’ll do? Make a sandcastle?” Eulo mockingly said.

“Quit it,” Mark-jay said. This time Eulo is already getting to his nerves.  “You should be the one taking care of things. But you’re only making it worst just like today.”

Eulo quickly got up and looked as if it was ready to aim at Mar-jay.

But when the latter stood.  Eulo came to know who’s bigger and stronger between them. Mar-jay is twice as big and tall.  Making Eulo think twice about picking up a fight.

“You’re just entertaining more of the negative energy from outside this circle, by fighting among yourselves. When you should be helping each other go through with this dilemma.”

That’s when all three started to calm down. 

“Now, everyone focus. Whatever you hear, never ever open your eyes, you hear me?” he told everyone.

Both Mar-jay and Keisha nodded while Eulo made a “Whatever” face.

“Let’s start.”

“Shouldn’t we be going back there? I think it’s much safer.”  Chigs told Wacko. But the latter ignored his words and just continued to follow a certain trail.

But it seems as though, they were only going through circles.

“Haven’t we walked this path earlier?” Chigs noticed. It’s almost dark and they haven’t found a way out of that trail in the middle of the woods.

“I think we’re lost,” Wacko announced.

“You think?” Chigs is really starting to freak out. And Wacko isn’t helping in any way.

”What are you so afraid of? Even if there’s really a ghost. She does nothing with both of us in here,” Wacko was still talking when they both heard a horrifying laugh from around them.

It was definitely Alice.

“We’re not afraid of you, “ although badly trembling, Wacko still managed to provoke Alice’s spirit.  “Show yourself!”

“Are you nuts?” said Chigs.

The laugh became louder and intense. It’s as if was closing in on them.

Chigs was the first to run away. While Wacko was left, unable to move from his position. His body felt numb with fear that he couldn’t even scream when Alice’s face showed before him.  He could only blink an eye before his neck break like a thin branch, without being touched.

Meanwhile,  Chigs run faster for his life as he tried to find his way back to the others.  It didn’t take long for him to find them. But when he was trying to call out their names. Alice's apparition showed up at the entrance of the abandoned site. 

Eulo and the others looked like they were doing an incantation that everyone had their eyes shut.
