Chapter 30
Mile's POV
I drove to Endrick building, the engine of my car humming softly in the background as I made my way through the quiet streets. My mind was a blur, the only thing clear being the upcoming meeting with Endrick and his daughter, Sofia. There was something I had to figure out. Something about the fact that my heart does not sit down well with Sofia.
As I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed the tall, imposing structure of the building in front of me. It stood like a silent giant against the dark sky. I took a deep breath before getting out of the car and making my way inside.
Endrick was waiting for me near the entrance, standing with his daughter, Sofia. She had a bright smile on her face, but there was something in her eyes that didn’t quite match the expression.
