RAI Several Years Ago, I fixed my gaze on the white ceilings of the ward I'd been admitted to, my brows furrowed. My parents had left a few minutes ago. I could sense them lingering along the hallway. I couldn't blame them. The doctor had told them that I had barely escaped death. While I thought about this, my frown deepened.
