"The Search for a Cure"

The sun was setting on the horizon, casting an eerie orange glow over the city. It had been two weeks since John had discovered his zombie girlfriend, and he was still struggling to come to terms with it. He had spent every waking moment trying to find a way to cure her, but so far he had come up empty-handed.
John was walking down the street when he noticed something strange in the alleyway ahead of him. He cautiously approached and saw that it was a group of people wearing lab coats and carrying medical equipment. They were talking amongst themselves in hushed tones, as if they didn't want anyone else to hear what they were saying.
John stepped forward and asked them what they were doing there. One of them turned around and said that they were scientists looking for a cure for zombieism. John's heart leapt at this news; maybe these people could help him save his girlfriend! He eagerly asked them how he could help, but one of them shook their head sadly and said that it would be too dangerous for him to get involved in their research.
John refused to give up hope though; if there was even a chance that these scientists could help him save his girlfriend then he would do whatever it took! He begged them until finally one of them relented and agreed to let him join their team as an assistant researcher.
For days on end John worked alongside the scientists as they searched desperately for a cure for zombieism, but no matter how hard they tried nothing seemed to work out right away. Finally after weeks of hard work one of the scientists made an incredible breakthrough - she had managed to create an antidote which could reverse the effects of zombieism!
Everyone cheered with joy at this news; finally there was hope that John's girlfriend could be saved! The scientist gave John instructions on how to administer the antidote correctly before sending him off with enough doses for three people - just enough for himself, his girlfriend, and another person who might need it too...
