It was bitingly cold as he walked through the rainy town. He almost ran into a woman and her child hurrying on the sidewalk but was quick enough to side step them. The little girl looked up at him curiously with her big blue eyes as he passed and he gave a faint smile before returning back to his cold expressionless self.
He stopped for a moment looking into the window of the shop with the glimmering lights. He was taking in the unfamiliar town. Christmas decorations and products were already starting to be put out making the stores shine even brighter and come alive. People loving Christmas so much they would start even two months early had always fascinated him. The town really was beautiful, that he could agree with. She picked a lovely place.
