The news that Luna and Daniella were involved in a r**e incident spread among those who knew them like wildfire. The manager of the bread factory Daniella works, Will came over to the hospital to check on them the next morning. Seated beside Daniella's bed, he smiled at her pitifully and said: "How are you doing?" "A little bit better", the nurse answered for her. "She is still in a state of shock, she needs a couple of rest before she can get back to her stable self. You are her boss, right? Give her a leave for two days or more". "I'm no longer her boss but don't worry. I'll place a call to the manager of her supposed workplace. Can I drop my digits, should in case any form of emergency?" "I'm sorry but her guardian had already done that. If not that you claim to be her friend, you shouldn't be here". "Guardian? But I've never...." "Please, you would have to excuse her. Visiting time's over". He stood up, taking a glance at Daniella who was still in a daze, patted her arm to gain her attention, then bidding her farewell. He left the hospital room and went to the reception just as Bianca came with a basket filled with fruits and a little breakfast. He left the hospital. Bianca stopped at the reception desk to speak with the receptionist. "Hello, how may I help you?" "Good morning. I want to ask of the number where a woman that was brought in yesterday around 10pm is" "Are you her guardian?" "Yep" "Name?" "Bianca Mod" "Oh okay. Room 101". "Okay. Thanks" "You're welcome " She strolled in to the hospital ward 101, her handbag in one hand, the other hand busy occupying a basket. She opened the door, peeped in and saw Daniella seated on the bed. She fully entered, her clicking heels alerting her. She smiled at Daniella as Daniella returned her smile and she came to sit next to her. She dropped the basket on the floor, placed her hand on Daniella's forehead and smiled at her. "How are you feeling dear?" "Okay I guess" , she stammered. "I'm sorry. I don't know how it feels to lose a dear one, I don't know the pain of seeing one to die. Maybe because I haven't experienced it yet. I don't know what to say, you look so lovely and beautiful for someone like you to lose someone. I'm so sorry". "It's okay", Daniella muttered,a year dropping from her eyes down to her cheek. "Luna had been so good to me, we were as thick as tick. She is my best friend and the only family I had. She would always watch my back, even at her own risk then when it was my turn to help her, what did I do? I couldn't even save a strand of hair. I feel so useless", she cried out, finally breaking again. Bianca let her shoulder down for Daniella to cry on, patting her gently.
