(Alpha Hadeon Dissik)
"Ahh, ahh, ohmygoddess, ahh," moaned the Delta w***e I was pounding into from behind. I grabbed the back of her hair and roughly pulled her towards me without missing a beat. I could see her body going weak. "Do you need me to stop!" I growled in her ear while I mercilessly hammered into her tight little box. "N-no Alpha, d-don't stop," she managed to get out while trying to grasp for breath.
I felt my claws piercing into her sides as I sensed myself almost reaching my peak. Right as I was about to go over the edge, I felt the Delta go limp in my arms. Damnit! I knew she wasn't going to make it. I laid her passed-out body back on her bed and noticed the small wounds on her hips already healing.
I swear I can never finish. Females always seem to pass out. She normally takes a beating better than that though. I growled in frustration, put on my clothes, and quickly exited her room. I walked briskly towards my chambers so I could shower and finish the job that was cut short. It just doesn't feel right finishing once they are unconscious.
As soon as I stepped into my apartment, a familiar scent hit my nose. I rounded the corner before I heard "Hades!" I felt the petite frame of my soon-to-be-chosen mate jump in my arms. Camille Therox was the daughter of an allied Alpha. We don't have many allies, so our union as mates is crucial.
"Good morning, Cami," I told her as I pulled her into my arms and kissed her on her cheek. "I missed you," she pouted as she wrapped her arms around my neck. Cami scrunched up her nose and glared at me angrily before stepping out of my arms. "You stink! What b***h were you just lying with!" Cami growled. "I wasn't expecting you until tomorrow," I said drily as I brushed past her and headed toward the shower. I slammed the bathroom door in Cami's face to end her bitching for a while.
Cami really wasn't that bad, but sometimes she was a little needy and possessive and we aren't even mated yet. My father doesn't believe in fated mates and neither do I. I watched him w***e around with different women all my life and, sadly, I am no different. The only difference is, he never took a female for a mate or Luna, just bedded them. I am aligning our pack with a powerful pack that has similar "interests", shall I say. Cami is just a small burden to bear for the bigger picture.
I quickly exited the shower feeling only slightly better. I left my bathroom and went straight to my closet to get dressed. After pulling on my boxers and jeans, I felt soft hands creep up from behind and begin to rub my torso. "I'm sorry, baby. You know I get overwhelmed with jealousy," Cami whispered into my back. I rolled my eyes and sighed in annoyance before turning around to face her.
"It's okay. Are you ready for breakfast?" I asked her but her hands continued to explore my upper body. "I am ready for more than that," Cami stated seductively as she licked her thin lips. I sighed once again. Even though Cami could hang with the best of them, I didn't feel like another disappointment this morning if she passed out. "Maybe later," I told her before I kissed her forehead and brushed past her.
Cami and I left my apartment and headed down four flights of stairs to grab breakfast. Every pack member who passed us scurried by with their heads hung low. I smirked in accomplishment but my wolf rustled within me slightly as he usually does. Something deep within him wants to protect these wolves, and for the most part, we do, but my father told me to show no weakness to those beneath us, so we do that also.
"I asked for f*****g Cranberry juice for my mimosa, not orange! Stupid Omegas!" Cami shouted at an Omega as she poured her glass on the Omega before she ran away to fetch her another. I don't say anything to Cami and I rarely do. Again, unlike my father's ways, I will take a Luna for this pack and I want her to run it how she sees fit. She is an Alpha's daughter after all, so who better to help run my pack by my side? She should also be able to give me strong pups once we are mated.
"Do you have to shout with your annoying voice so early in the morning? s**t!" my Gamma and first cousin, Lucas, stated as he sat down at the table rubbing his temples. "Watch your mouth, Gamma!" Cami spat before Lucas' mate, Evi, growled at her with teeth bared. I rubbed my hand down my face in annoyance, those three can never get along.
After breakfast, I told Lucas and my Beta, Rick, to meet me in my office as the ladies went their separate ways. Once in my office, Lucas began to complain immediately. "Man, cuz, I don't know what you see in that w***e or how you can even tolerate her, but she will NEVER be my Luna!" Lucas growled.
"Shut up and sit down, pup! When she becomes our Luna you WILL respect her!" growled James as they both stared at each other like they were ready to rip one another's throats out. This was my life. My Beta and Gamma hated each other. Honestly, I wasn't too fond of my Beta either. We were never friends growing up because he is about 9 years older than me, but my father insisted, since he was his Beta's son.
If it were up to me, I would have made Lucas my Beta. He is one of the only people on this planet I genuinely trust. His father was Beta and Alpha born, and his mother, my father's sister, was born from two Alphas. He is also very strategic, hardworking, and a fierce fighter. If anybody deserved Beta, it was Lucas, but my father refused to give me the title of Alpha with Lucas as Beta and said he was too soft, just like his mother, so I settled for him as my Gamma.
Lucas is genuinely a good guy and being as though I hate good guys, it's strange how well we mesh together. He's the calm to my storm and I can honestly say I care for him, even though I would never tell him that. His mate, though, is another story. Even though Lucas can be vicious, he is usually mellow and calculated, but his mate is just a ray of f*****g sunshine.
She is always positive and trying to do the "right thing". It's sickening actually. And the way my poor cousin follows her around like a lost pup as she spreads said f*****g sunshine, is even more disgusting. To make matters worse, after a year and a half of them being mated and all her do-gooder ways, I don't completely hate her and that's the most perplexing part.
As much as I hate to admit it, seeing my cousin, who is more like a little brother, so happy and content makes me satisfied. Again, I will never tell any of them that. My father hates the cheerful mood Evi brings to the Packhouse and sometimes I feel like I must watch her back before he does something I would regret.
"Okay, let's get down to it, tomorrow is our planned attack against the Blood Moon Pack," Lucas said as he rolled out a map so we could look over our war strategy. My heart skipped a beat at the thought that all my planning and hard work was coming to fruition. I had spent years as a pup training my ass off just so I could be ready when I took over the pack. Then I went out and took over multiple packs.
Over the last two years, I have absorbed twelve small packs throughout the country. My numbers have grown in not only pack members but warriors as well. After my last take-over just shy of a month ago, I now have enough warriors to rival the Blood Moon Pack. They have been the bain of my existence since I was a pup. They mercilessly murdered my grandmother, as well as Luc's parents, and they harbor two very powerful and blessed wolves.
No pack needs that much power and they have gotten away with it for long enough! We will take one of the blessed wolves alive and sacrifice her during the Death Moon in March. That is three months away but I want to make sure she is secure. From my understanding, the White Wolf's birthday party is tomorrow night and we believe it's a perfect time to attack. Not only will all members of the family be there so I can implement my father's and my sweet revenge, but there should be a decent number of their allies there as well, which we can also take out. Killing two wolves with one claw, as they say.
After our meeting and putting the finishing touches on our plan, I headed for training. I needed my body to be in top shape and I couldn't slack, not even a day. I walked out of the packhouse and almost straight into a tent pitched on the front lawn. I sighed in frustration. We needed to figure out what to do with all these new pack members.
Over the last two years, I have collected over eight hundred new pack members and have nowhere for them to go. I could never trust them to live in my packhouse since I slaughtered all their ranked members and forced them to become my pack members or risk death. It's not like the packhouse is up to par to have a large number of people living in it anyway.
So all my new members have gotten tents and have been living in them. Some have been in tents for a couple of years and appear completely fine. Unfortunately, the more packs I absorbed, the less space we have on our front lawn and nearby area. My father insisted we keep an eye on them and keep them close.
Soon my life mission will be complete and I will not need all these pack members anyway. The only ones I am truly concerned about are my original one hundred and forty Death Shadow pack members. Anyone else can be executed if they have a problem. Except for pups, I don't harm pups. I know my father doesn't care who he hurts, but that's a hard rule of mine.
After a tense dinner between my Gamma, his mate, and Cami, I decided to retire for the night. Tomorrow night, we will be on our way to Blood Moon ready to enforce our plan. The excitement coursing through me was almost too much to contain. I had been waiting for this moment for too long. If all goes as planned, we will have the White Wolf in our dungeons within the next thirty-six hours.
As I approached my chamber's door I could hear small footsteps running after me. "Hadesss," I heard the whining voice of Camille behind me. I rolled my eyes before turning around and letting her catch up to me. "I miss you, baby, let me stay the night with you," Cami said. I c****d my eyebrow at her with an "are you serious?" look.
She chuckled nervously before saying, "I know you would rather come to my room across the hall but we will be mated in a few months after the Death Moon. You might as well get used to me in your apartment. I shook my head in annoyance.
"Cami, you know I will never share my chambers with anyone. That is one line I will never cross. I have given you the biggest room on the Alpha's floor and that will be where you will stay unless you want one of our few cottages on pack grounds," I told her before quickly kissing her forehead and rushing into my chambers before she could protest.

The next morning, I woke up excited and ready to go. I still had hours until we left, but the excitement wouldn't leave me. I could feel my wolf, Zeus, becoming anxious about our departure. Zeus was a vicious wolf as well as a wolf of few words. We usually agreed on everything besides how we treat our pack members, but he has trusted me enough to run our pack the way I see fit.
We are honestly extremely in tune with one another and I usually know how he feels without him having to utter a word, but I always know he is there. Since I turned sixteen and received my wolf about eight years ago, he has been just as ready to prove himself as I am. I have physically trained my human body to be damn near indestructible, but Zeus is naturally a scary beast.
In all honesty, if he wasn't my wolf, I would probably have been intimidated as well. His black fur with specks of bright red throughout makes him almost look aflame, which is partially the reason he earned the nickname of Hades. The other part is because he is truly vicious and untamable.
When Zeus is on a rampage, even I can't bring him back. I had completely blacked out before with no recollection of the events that had occurred, but when I came to, I realized I had slaughtered whole packs. I try to keep control over him, but sometimes when things set him off too badly, there is no turning back. Even he knows the term"the Demon Wolf, Hades" suits him and we will both respond to that name.
After strenuous training for my warriors and myself all morning and most of the afternoon, I told my warriors to rest. It takes about four hours to get to Blood Moon and if we leave around six I think we will get there at the perfect time to be the main event. A big surprise for the birthday girl if you will. A sadistic smirk crossed my lips at the thought of finally ripping apart the disgustingly weak, ranked members of Blook Moon.
After showering and eating dinner, I made my way to the very end of the hall on the Alpha's floor. Besides my apartment, there are about six rooms on the other side of the hall. Down the hall and around the corner, though, is a small door with a narrow set of steps that leads up to an old and cramped attic.
I waited by the door for a few minutes before an Omega rushed up the hall with a tray in her hands, almost bumping into me. "I said meet me here at 5' o'clock! It's five minutes after five! I have other things to do besides waiting around for an Omega!" I shouted, and the Omega cowered in fear. "I-I'm s-sorry, A-Alpha," the Omega stuttered. I could feel Zeus getting agitated at the treatment of his precious pack members, so I quickly dismissed the Omega as I pulled a key from my pocket.
After opening the door while trying to balance the tray of food in my other hand, I quietly made my way up the old, narrow, attic steps. There, sitting near the only window, was a frail and fragile woman. I strolled over and sat the tray down on her small table. I walked to her and watched her as my heart clenched momentarily.
I rubbed my hand down her long and unruly brown hair as I tried to look into her eyes, which were as vacant as ever. "Mother, I brought you something to eat," I whispered to her. After hearing my voice, my mother slowly turned to me and gave me a weak smile even though her eyes never truly focused on me.
I placed the tray on her lap but she ignored it and turned her head to once again stare aimlessly out of the tiny, circular attic window. I tried to bring the spoon full of soup to her mouth, but she ignored it. I observed her room for a moment and everything seemed in place, except the pot she uses as the restroom was full. I quickly and angrily mind-linked her assigned Omega to come and empty it.
I know no one can understand or imagine why I have my mother locked up in the attic of my packhouse, but honestly, this is where she has always lived. She is my father's fated mate, but unfortunately for her, he never believed in fated mates. My great-grandmother and great-grandfather were chosen mates and they ran this place with an iron fist from what I was told.
My grandparents were fated and even though my great-grandfather was against it, my grandmother still chose her fated mate. My father has always leaned more towards my great grandparents in his beliefs in that aspect, but at least they took a mate. My father refused to even take a chosen mate, but he also refused to reject my mother and set her free.
So my whole life this has been my mother's residence, even before I was born. Father would let me come and visit her a few times a week as a pup, but as I got older, the visits became less and less, and her bubbly, sweet, and funny personality continued to diminish. I always promised her I would get her out of there when I became Alpha, but by the time I became Alpha, my mother had already faded away into a shell of her former self.
To make matters worse, my father explained to me he told her father (an Alpha of a nearby pack) that she had died in childbirth, and if she suddenly reappeared, we might have enemies we weren't quite ready for. So I chose to keep her where she was comfortable, and I visited her multiple times a week. No one even knows of her existence except for three trusted Omegas.
I sat next to her and began telling her my plans for the day. Even though she never responds or even lets me know she understands, she is the only other person closest to me besides my father and Lucas, and she is the only one who knows all of my fears and secrets, and I keep them all locked up here with her. I noticed it was almost time to depart, so I kissed her on the cheek and promised to update her about my next adventure before I exited her room, locking the door behind me.
After collecting my six hundred-plus warriors out front, we loaded some of us into trucks while the rest would have to run in wolf form. Zeus' and my anticipations were at an all-time high during our long journey to the Blood Moon Pack. Four hours felt like forty now that I knew everything I had worked so hard for was finally coming to fruition, and unlike my ancestors, and the many Alphas before me, I would not fail this time. Not with who I had on my side.
We quietly pulled up about a mile from the Blood Moon Pack's borders, and we all silently waited for our guest. Suddenly, from the shadows, a young girl appeared. She looked no older than twelve with bright blue eyes and long brown hair. The smell of sulfur on her was hard to ignore.
"Follow me. I will get you all as close as I can undetected," her sweet voice stated as she began to head forward toward the border. I hated working with a demon, a lower-level one at that, but beggars can't be choosers. She is assigned to get us onto pack grounds, and I will not question the powers that be.
We quickly and stealthily passed over six hundred warriors through pack borders undetected and snuck up through pack lands. It was eerily quiet, and I assume it was because most people were at the party at the pack house. We walked towards the center of the pack for almost an hour without seeing a single soul.
Finally, we spotted some warriors patrolling, and I quickly mind-linked all my warriors. "Remember, kill anyone who gets in your way but try to avoid hurting the females, and by no means do we harm pups. Do you understand?" I asked. "Yes, Alpha," I got a resounding response through mindlink.
I motioned to my warriors, who quickly took out two guards before they even saw us coming. They lay dead by a tree where I told my warriors to leave them. No use trying to clean up our mess. This pack will be mine in a few hours anyway.
Suddenly, we heard blaring music in the distance. I stopped just before the end of the tree line, which revealed the massive packhouse. I stood there for a moment basking in the frigid winter air. My Gamma, Lucas, approached me ready to make a move. I looked over at him and nodded. Lucas let out a powerful howl into the night, and all my warriors in wolf or human form began running full speed towards the pack house. I smirked, already ready to bask in my win. It's party time.
