Alpha Maverick arrived later at noon, he was welcomed by Alpha Ryker in grande style and his presence was acknowledged in the pack. He looked around, realizing that Lisa wasn't amongst the people who had come to welcome him.
Normally, she was supposed to be by Ryker's side in this event. Why was she absent? Was it on purpose? Ryker noticed his discomfort so he asked . “Is there anything wrong, Alpha?”
“No, not at all. I'm just curious.. Where is your Luna?” Maverick asked shamelessly.
Although Ryker didn't think of it as anything since she was supposed to be there in the first place. “I'm so sorry, she was feeling a little sick so she couldn't come,” he explained.
