We could soon hear the clanging of armor coming up the hill.

"Another one of your tricks, Lilian?" Elze said as he ran out to look outside the windows. "Knights! What are they doing here? I already sent them away the other day."

I pulled myself together and tried to sit upright against the bed frame.

"How was I supposed to know that the Knights were coming here?" I asked innocently.

Elze soon got back on the bed and slammed his hand against the wall.
