* ÁLARICK * One day before Alistair fought the soldiers. I'm in a white room, with almost no furniture in it. Only a desk with three chairs, One behind the desk and two in front of it. On the wall begin the desk their is a portrait of the king and the high priest of the Acadamy. I didn't know where my head was when I send Alistair alone. He hasn't been here since he was 12 years old. What if he gets to emotional and goes on a rampage. I sign for a millionth time. I hear my little brother laugh. "You are too worried for the boy, Álarick. He is 23 years old. He can look after himself." Ecrusius drink casual from his rum. Ecrusius is my only brother. He is smaller than me, but way faster. He has the same brown locks as me. The only difference in hair is that I have grey hairs already and he doesn't. His brown eyes are full of knowledge and they seem to look into your soul. He has two moles under his left eye. His brown beard is full grown. He wears a red button-up shirt tucked in his black pants. He wears a golden bracelet with an eye engraved in it, a symbol of an master hunter. I'm proud of my brother to grow so big. I growl at him. I see Alistair as my son. I don't want him to get hurt. "Ecrisius, you know his temper better than most people. You trained him when I couldn't look after for him. If he is angered, his vampire side appears. Humans are scared of that side." Ecrusius smile disappears when I say vampire. He leans forward. "Are you completely out of your mind to say that out loud here?!" he whispers in anger. "This place stays a place ruled by the Acadamy of Supernatural Hunters. I might be a respected, highplaced hunter and a master and high teacher in alchemy, but my influence goes as far as it can. I won't be able to save your and his ass of you get caught. Nor your wife and children. You understand me?" I nod. I forgot that every wall here can have ears. I hate this place. My hunter years were the most awful ones in my life. I learned that supernatural creatures are beings with a soul, with feelings. The moment I met Alistair, my thoughts only agreed more that they deserve to live. They aren't all killers. So I quit. My brother came to the same conclusion when he met Alistair, but he didn't hate the Academy. It stays his home and they are still crazy supernatural beings running around. I don't mind him doing that. He helps me when I need information to protect Alistair. "Álarick!" my brother brings me back out of my thoughts of nostalgia. "What?" I said little bit harsh. "I said these are the documents of Webb's movements, you asked for. He wants to ensure terror on the villages of his 'land'. You and Al should avoid these places. He will recognise Al and will kill him immediately." He rethinks his words. "More call for a hunt...He can't kill Al. He is too weak." "But his right hand man is a supernatural hunter, so he could kill him...if he has the right weapons." I add. I'm even more worried because I see Webb passes a town I told Alistair to wait for me there. Ecrusius notices my worried face. "He is there, isn't he?" I nod and stand up. "I need to get him as fast as possible. Can I borrow a horse?" Ecrusius agrees and immediately makes everything ready. I'm horse back riding to the village. It's the middle of the night when I arrive. I heard woman scream and children cry. Oh no, I might be too late. Webb should arrive at morning not at midnight. Soldiers scream to the villagers to stay quiet and sit in a row. Other women are pulled to a secluded place. Before the soldiers could do more they hear a loud crash. I see them running towards it. I follow them to the noise. I see Alistair easily kill a group of 20 soldiers. It amazes me how skilled he is. Before he could kill the other soldiers I step in. He can't keep using his black magic to kill soldiers. It's too dangerous for his mental health. In few fast movements the rest of the soldiers are death. When I look around I see they are part of Webb's army. I sigh in relief, but my anger is now converted to Alistair. "Why can I never leave you alone."
