Maximus’ POV I tossed and turned most of the night, unable to quiet the thoughts running through my mind. I have been putting this off and dreading this day, but I have no choice now. These threats to my grandchildren keep coming and now poor Marcus and his family have been dragged into it. Thomas may be running the pack, but it is still my pack. I must do what needs to be done to protect my people.
