Trying to maintain my composure while waiting for our mate to come back home has proven more difficult than I anticipated. The strong desire to be with her began when we lay with her the other night. Just being close to her was enough for me. While most wolves jump right into mating and marking, the thought of waiting until she was comfortable and ready for that didn’t bother me. I always said growing up that it would be up to my mate when we took those next steps. Cade has also saved himself for our mate. Callum has dabbled a little with the she wolves, but considering he is an alpha male, he really hasn’t that much. We all truly wanted Alaia.
Alaia. Her name fills every single tiny hole in my soul. I long for her scent.. to run my hands through her long, silky-smooth hair.
