Chapter 2 The Plan

As soon as I was done, I got the perfect tray to put the breakfast on. I even got a nice gift bag that was in the pack house to place the flowers in. I made a card to write something romantic on it.

I know the beta's wife would appreciate it. She has always been nice to me. She's a great and fierce woman. She has to be, I guess, since she's the beta's wife. They have to be strong and stand by protecting their Alpha and Luna.

I went looking for the beta to let him know that I had got the things ready for him to take to her.

I walked outside and went to the training ground as this is where the beta trains with all the other wolves. They need to stay in fighting shape to protect the pack from any danger.

I left the tray of food behind and the flowers.

I walked up and saw the beta standing next to the Alpha.

" Hey rose! Are you all done?" He asked as he neared me.

" Yes beta. I have it all set in the kitchen so that you can take it to beta Laura," I said.

We walked to the kitchen, and I gave the beta the gifts.

" I added a letter in there if you don't mind", I mentioned to him.

"Thank you so much! I'm not good with words, so you saved me with that one rose" he said while, chuckling, taking the gifts from me.

"You're welcome. Happy to help. I'm off to continue my chores. Let me know how it goes" I say, and he nods with excitement but also nervousness on his face while he walks out to reach his beta female.

It's just funny to see him so nervous, and they've been mates for so long now. But that's what the mate bond does. The sparks and love between mates never die. Again, it got me thinking of having something like that.

A tear fell on my cheek, but I quickly wiped it off with my left hand. 'Stop thinking these things rose! You were not born to have that'. I scolded myself to get my head out of the gutter.

I got breakfast done, and cleaned the rooms assigned to me. I just had to run to the store before the place closed to get ready for the pack dinner tonight at 6pm.

I came back from the store with everything I needed on the list that Liz provided.

It was 3pm, and I had to get these dinner things ready before going to Olivia's room at 4pm.

The other 7 girls, including Alissa, were also going to help with everything.

Just as the clock ticked 4pm, I washed my hands and took my apron off to go to Olivia's room.

"Rose!" shouted Alissa from across the kitchen. She came my way as I was just about to leave the kitchen.

"I heard what was going on with Olivia and her group," she says while looking at me with pity in her eyes. " I know that we haven't been close or anything or friends even, but just know that I am here if you want a friend" she says while giving me a faint smile.

I felt confused that she even said something like that and offered to be my friend. I've never been friends with anyone. I'm always the one to get stabbed in the back and used. I've known Alissa for 6 months now and, even though she hates doing favors, I know that she is still a great person overall.

"Thank you, Alissa. I don't know where that came from, but I appreciate that" I said, while I kept her one hand in both of mine with a smile on my face." But I just want to know, why?" I asked. I am not sure why she would say that now.

"Well, I've seen how Olivia treats you ever since you got here. I never liked her. She uses you the most around here because you are good at everything you do, so I just wanted to let you know that I am here if you need a friend or just someone to talk to", she says, with another pitiful look in her eyes.

"That means a lot. I can't go against her and say no to anything. I am just an omega trying to get by in life," I informed her. I know I let others walk all over me, but I have no choice in the matter than to just allow it.

"It's a pleasure. Well, let me get back to this massive dinner. We are cooking for the Alphas after all" she says while she laps her hair, acting head over heels for the Alphas like Olivia and her group do.

I just laughed and let go of her hand to walk towards Olivia's room…

There is a staircase that leads to a corridor with all the rooms. There are about 4 floors. The Alphas, Luna, and beta's family all live on the top floors with the warriors of the pack on the other floors. All unmated. Only the mated ones live on their own in their own place.

I only live on my own because I've been saving up to get my own place, and because my father is a pack doctor. I forgot to mention that, right? Well, yes. We might be omegas, but a pack doctor is as important as anyone else.

I reached Olivia's floor and knocked twice.

She opened the door, and I could see the annoyed look she gave me," took you long enough! Come on" she said, while dragging me inside her room and closing the floor behind us.

As I walked in, I looked at the huge room I had. The ceiling is painted pink, she has wild windows, a cough area, a king-sized bed and a big TV screen. I could say that she's living life at night in this amazing room. This entire room almost takes up my kitchen and lounge together and my lounge is huge in my eyes, so just imagine.

"If you are done starring and admiring my room, we've got things to plan," Olivia said, as I almost jumped out of my own skin with shock. I always get lost in my mind and talk to myself.
