Very early the next day, Miller woke up and met Davina preparing to leave again. He knew there was no stopping her today so he devised a plan to at least stay with her a little longer.
"I know I can't stop you from leaving today and I might not see you again but can you do me a favor?" Miller asked in such a pitiful voice that Davina had to hear him out.
"What could that favor be?" She asked curiously.
"Stay here until tomorrow. I want to do a lot of things with you and today might be my last chance." He requested.
Davina thought hard for a while before he finally agreed to his request, after all, she also wanted to spend more time with him.
"Just for today." She said.
"Just for today." He repeated. "But you'd have to succumb to whatever I say." He added.
