THE CITY OF PANDORA

As I was still getting familiar with my new location. I saw a dragon lying in field in front of me. The place looked like an ancient playground that had not been used for a while. The description of the neighbors matched the image of the dragon. I immediately started planning for an attack.

I heard footsteps behind me and he looked. I saw a very beautiful woman.She was indeed charming,a goddess I should say.Her blonde wavy hair fell softly on her shoulders.Some strands had gone to her face.Her blue ocean eyes were attractive,i could look into them forever.For a minute, i got lost in my own imagination.I thought of myself and the angelic goddess in my arms ,sitted on a mountain clift,watching the sun set.I closed my eyes softly and felt the moment. She was indead beautiful from head to toe.

She gazed at me as if reading mymind and broke the silence .

"Hae ,what are you doing here,Chaka,"she said with a sweet angelic voice.

"Technology is good, now you know my name even without me having to say it."

"Yeah am pretty sure you already know mine too."

"Yeah Elena,what are you doing in this dangerous woods.Are you not scared all alone in this woods.

"Am a worrior so why should i be afraid."

The sound of the dragon groaning as if getting up interrupted their little chit chat.

"Shhhhhhhh,don't move,"I said as he tiptoed to position himself .I quickly steadied my bow, grabbed my arrows and started shooting at the monster randomly.

The image of the lifeless old woman made me so bitter and resentful .

My eyes burnt with a lot of anger,his heart consumed with the desire for revenge.

The dragon groaned in pain as its health bar started to reduce.It flew above them and let out a fierce fire.

I quickly grabbed his shield and covered himself and shandra.I then grabbed his sword and started to fight the dragon that was now standing before me.It was so big I could not reach its head.Infact to the dragon ,I resembled a dwarf .With all my strength I cut through its big feet .At first, the cuts did't make any effect.The dragon kept turning as it dodged its blows.I then shot arrows that cut through the beast's neck.It fell down with a large thud,bringing several trees down with it.It groaned as if in great pain.It then gathered strength and got up again .It breathed a huge fire that sent I body flying in the air and falling down with a loud bhang.My health bar had reduced it was already showing red a sign that if i didn't recharge I had just a few minutes before I died . I had to find a greenlight to boost it.i hobbled and found shelter behind a rock as i looked for the health booster.I asked shandra to cover me as I looked for the green light.I found two and pressed .This magically restored my initial strength and I came back to the combat.I fought the monster for a while but when shandra saw I was going to defeat the dragon she shouted.

"Stop,please stop i can talk to the dragon and ask it about its rider.He is the last one of his kind please.And also if we kill it we will never find out who killed the old woman.

" If i don't kill it ,it will kill me,"I shouted.

"No it won't, i promise you,just leave that to me."

On this note I retrieved from the war and watched as Elena engaged the dragon.The two looked like they had a bonded relationship.And they spoke a tongue he didn't understand.

After a while she came to me and reported that the dragon had said the rider had escaped to the woods immediately after the murder and left the dragon alone.

I still felt uneasy in his heart something was not right.I smelt a lie.But either way I had to retrieve and leave the dragon alone.I immediately left and being so angry,I didn't even care about Shandra.

As I walked further into the woods shandra mounted the dragon and flew high laughing out loud.

"He's such a fool,ha ha ha ha!!!! He wants to be the hero but he knows nothing of what is coming.Soon he will be so in love with the witch's daughter that he will think of nothing else.He will long for my touch and suffer in need of it.He will live by the light of my eyes and gladly do whatever i ask.Down an evil road will i drag him and like a sheep he will follow his master.He will find no way out.And i will do to him as i did to the old woman.He will cry for help but no one will come.And i will be there,seated beside my queen witch mother as i enjoy every bit of his suffering.

The dragon flew and it landed outside castle walls of the greenland city .The castle was ancient and its high and fortified walls stood majestically.There were guards on both sides of the huge golden gate .The walls were so tall,they served as security for its owners and also as a scenery of man-made beauty.

Shandra stepped down from the dragons back and signalled the gate keepers to be opene the gate.

She entered the gates with her head high and parted with the dragon in the courtyard .She strode through the hallways as she headed to the kings chambers.All guards bowed their heads as she passed.The castle was grand.It was luxurious with a beautiful garden full of flowers with different colours.It had golden pillars and sguare shaped towers.The towers were interconnected with large bridges.The walls also had small windows and gaps for archery . There was a big fountain in the middle of the garden that watered the flowers with crystal clear water. The east wing had settlements where people dwelt .The kings servants lived in the west wing and their were also stables for the horses.No one entered the castle without an official invitation from the king .He was a brutal powerful man .People feared him far and near.

He would command his soldiers to go and attack all villages around and raid them of their food and kill all men and women while the children were recruited as slaves .His fingers itched for power.His heart thirsted for bloodshed and more power.He never had enough he ruled all lands.He had kings representing him in all kingdoms,the westlands,southlands and northlands.The kings chambers were amazing .They had lovely flowers in his courtyard .This is mostly where the king came to relax and rest.The castle had several hallways leading to different chambers.Soldiers stood alert at every door .Coming to this chambers was a dream come true.The irony was,the beauty of the place resembled heaven yet its owner was the devil himself.He would command his servants to kiss his feet,he would also slap them for no reason .He took a lot of taxes from the poor and anyone who complained was assasinated in the city square.The kings face was horrible ,he always scared everyone who met him as he looked like an alien.He had been alive for so many years till the way he looked was not the same as other humans.He had horns on his head ,his skin was blue in colour.He wore a blue metalic suit like that of a super hero.The people in the city always wondered if he ever took a shower and if he ever felt hot .His garments looked so heavy and he never changed them.No one had ever seen him in another outfit.Shandra knew his way around the castle,it was obvious she had visited this place several times .She signalled to the guards to open the door to the king's chambers.They let her in a bowed.Inside the chambers was beautiful.The wall was painted white.It had several ancient portraits.The room also had enormous glass windows that were covered with purple and white curtains.The floor was perfectly polished.Their were purple rugs that matched the curtains.Two long tables were placed in the middle of the room and dinner had already been served.At the far front was the throne,two soldiers were standing on both sides.The king was standing at one of the windows looking outside.When the door opened he immediately turned to Shandra.

"Aah here comes the gorgeous Shandra,the voice of the witch herself.The master of seduction.

Have a sit,or do you mind joining me for dinner,"said Lord behomoth as he pulled the chair out for her with one hand behind his back.

"No i don't mind my Lord,it will be such an honour ,"she said shyly alittle confused with the honourable treatment.

The king sat opposite her and looked directly in her eyes.

She had never seen him these close.

She didn't realise that she was gazing at the king.When she came back to her senses,she quickly turned her head down and was so afraid to look up again.

"Uhmm this old man is ugly,"she said to herself.

"So tell me what news do you bring,"said Lord Behomoth as he bit a chunk of meat.

Shandra cleared her throat and said,

"I was asked to bring this letter to you,"she said as she handed Lord Behomoth the scroll.

"I was also sent to accomplish a task by the queen ."

"Oh ,killing the mouthy old woman ,someone had to take care of her before she started spreading rumours about us."

"And how did you know about her?"Shandra asked shockingly .

"Aah about that ,i have eyes and ears around all realms.Nothing happens around here that i don't know of .I also know there is a young man that you met today.He is quite smart i should say ,if we don't take care of him he might become a problem,"said behomoth.

"Chaka is his name ,and you should not worry about him,he already fell for my charm.He is now my little pet,i will use him as i please," answered Shandra proudly .

"I see a lot of the queen in you.You think like her and are also attractive like she is i should comment.So if you say you have it under control then i guess there is nothing to worry about."

By this time they had finished their meal.Shandra left as the king opened the scroll to read.

To my dear old friend,

I am writing to you to remind you that the time for our revenge has come .Prepare yourself .This time we shall not fail

Queen leviathan .

Behomoth let out a big laughter,all the servants looked at him.He lifted his hands in the air to express his happiness .

"Yes! yes !,the time has finally come .we shall not fail.Humans, be ready ,the clock is ticking.Hahahahahahaha!"

Lightning flashed and thunder was heard after the echo of his laughter,dark ravens flew above his castle and gathered in the sky.

The place was filled with darkness and showers of rain started to fall.Everyone ran for shelter in their homes .One by one the birds fell all over the place .

It was a sign of bloodshed and badluck .

He was indeed a god.

His supernatural powers astonished many.No one dared to cross his path.When he got out of his castle,a golden pavement formed before him and butterflies with different colours flew all around him.They had never seen him step on soil.

He carried a golden mantle with a big blue diamond rock on top of it.Every time he held it high anything he wanted to happen happened .
