The words echo, on an endless loop since yesterday. I cringe, drawing the covers over my head with a groan of embarrassment and agitation escaping my lips. I shouldn’t be embarrassed; s*x was simply s*x and nothing more.
This was for Bella, and I’ll do anything to have her back.
However, something tells me s*x with Maverick will be completely earth-shattering. When we kissed, it was an explosion of our souls. If Bella didn’t appear in that exact moment, I would have relished and continued until nothing was left between us.
