Chapter 5

*Ella’s POV*

As my parents want me to find my mate, I decided to please them and speed up the process by starting the search. To start the search, I decided to throw a grand ball were all unmated males must attend, these include all alpha, betas, gammas, and omegas.

I wanted to plan everything, so I told my parents and they were ecstatic that I decided to do this. I forgot to mention that as a royal I can sense my mate at 16 but will only be positive who it is when I’m 18 as they my wolf will have reached full maturity. Any who, I made my way downstairs to get my friends because they can help me by combing the fine details of the spectacular event.

Ella: “Olivia! Lily!”            No response

Ella: “Olivia! Lily!”            No response

Ella: “Olivia! Lily!”

Olivia and Lily: “ In the dining room!”

When I had found out where they were, I went to them and told them everything. As I was trying to explain to them my twin brothers, Alex and Carlos showed up and wouldn’t leave me alone. Alex and Carlos continued to bother me until I mind linked mum to get them to go and help her with something as they were getting on my nerves.

Ella: (Mind linking)“Mum, Alex and Carlos are bothering me, Olivia and Lily again.”

Rose: “Good grace, when will they start to behave, I tell you they got that from your father. I’ll call them up and give them something to spend their time on.

Ella: “Thanks so much mum.”

Rose: “ No problem honey. Happy to help”

After mum called Alex and Carlos away, I went back to explaining what I would love at the grand ball.

Ella: “ So, I was thinking for the ball it should be a masquerade ball, were everyone must wear a mask and all fancy dress, for example long dresses that are modest and stuff. What do you think?”

Oliva: “I love that idea so much, I was thinking for the theme of the masquerade ball what about the colours – Blue, Gold, White and Black.

Lily: “ Yeah! I already know our dresses. Like I have the perfect image in my head and now we will have to find them.”

Ella: "Really Lil? Can you give us a hint of what they would look like? "(Excited)

Lily:” Nope! But if we can’t find them, I can always ask Hilda the dressmaker.”

Olivia: "If you must keep it a secret."

Ella and Olivia: "Fine". (disheartened)

After we had planned out the fine details such as décor – ice statues of the royal wolves, banners, balloons etc. – and we wrote it down I went to find my friend Emma as she is a fantastic artist. After I had located her – were else but the art room – I chose to approach her but noticed that she was in a zone type state, so I decided to notify my entrance to not spook her.

Ella: “Emma? (Knock Knock) Emma?”

Emma: “Huh? Oh, Hi Ella. What can I help you with?”

Ella: “How did you know I needed help with something?”

Emma:  “Well, you would only allow me to lose focus when something was needed and you don’t come to the art room during these times as everyone knows that I draw and need to be alone to let the art flow through me.”

Ella: “Alright, you got me. I was wondering if you could draw something like this for me (Holds up a rough sketch with annotations up of the ball room).”

Emma: “Sure, Looks simple enough. Why?”

Ella: “Really? Thank you so much. I’m planning a ball for all unmated males and females to g=come and try and find their mates.”

Emma: “Okay No problem.”

After I had spoken to Emma I went back to my room and continued to add minor details to the plans of the event. I realised I would have to book everything as well, so I decided to call the food providers, decorators, staff, cleaners, and book them for the night.

After 3 hours I was finally done booking all the staff needed and went to present the entire board to my family.

Ella: “FAMILY MEETING!!!!”

Rest of family: “coming!!!”

Ella: “I have gathered you to present my board of everything that will be done for the night of the ball. So, let’s begin.”

It took about 4 hours for me to explain everything, to answer questions and get my parents final approval. All that is left is for me to ask Emma to help design the invitations as well as Lily and Olivia.
