Chapter 3

*Still Liam POV*

*Continued Flashback*

When I had realized I was taller than my dad in wolf form, I was really confused as I was not yet the Alpha and shouldn’t be taller than the current Alpha, but I was. While I was self-contemplating, I was getting mind links from the entire pack, everyone was gushing about my wolf and asking his name.

Liam: Ethan, why am I taller than dad? What’s going on? I’m so Confused at what’s happening right now.

Ethan: Hold up! You need to give me time to answer as we have the same conscience and can’t speak over one another. But to answer your questions, we are taller than the current Alpha because our mate is super powerful and you need a large wolf to be able to handle her power, but don’t underestimate her when you do meet her. She could be older or younger, but I have a feeling she’s younger as I can’t fully feel her wolf in the world just that she is awake.

After my conversation with Ethan I came back to focus and started to lead the pack on the official hunt as my wolf needs to fit in with the others and be recognised as an Alpha wolf that hasn’t reached full maturity just yet.

A few hours later we went back to the pack house and I climbed back on stage and shifted back, however the most surprising thing was that when I shifted back my clothes were still intact. After that my parents Alpha commanded the entire pack to never speak a word of this until the command was lifted as this could put me in serious danger, from people like hunters or rouge wolves that just want power. Hunters are humans that have heightened senses but are still weaker than wolves unless they train their bodies than a few grouped together can bet an average wolf like an omega as in my pack it is necessary to train at least once a day.

Our training schedule changes monthly and also our border patrols haven’t got a set schedule as it also changes but twice a month a to prevent any rouges on our borders figuring out what we do all the time to protect the pack. Personally, I train 3 times a day, at 4.30am to 6am then of to school, again at 4pm to 5.30pm then I have dinner and after that I have Alpha training with my dad for 4 hours, it can start at 7pm and end at 11pm sometimes earlier if my dad feels nice.

*Flashback ended*

So that’s how I met my wolf, to this day people are still amazed by him, but there is one thing I didn’t tell anyone, Not even my friends or family and that is that when I shifted I unlocked a simple power that can allow me to enhance my abilities when I feel in danger or just for fun or even in training just I have to be very careful in case I slip up, this is because my wolf Ethan told me that when I meet my mate my power will develop and allow me to help others as well.

Liam: “Ouch! Why’d you punch me in the face James? That hurt like a b***h!”

Jacob: “Where’d you zone of to? I’ve been calling your name for ages.”

James: “Same here, he couldn’t get you to snap out of it, so I had to do something.”

Liam: “Next time, don’t punch me. Please! Can’t have you running my face, now can I?”

James: “Yeah, Yeah. Are you going to tell us what you were thinking so hard about?”

Jacob: “Honestly, I don’t want to know if it something weird.”

Liam: “No, it’s none of that I was thinking back to my first shift 3 years ago.”

Jacob: “You definitely picked the right time for that didn’t you?”

Liam: “Right back to focus! I’m going to be travelling round to see if I can find my mate and cause I’m not Alpha, yet I can bring my Future Beta and Delta.”

James: “You really thought I would let you leave with out me anyways, I’m your Future Beta, I need my mate too.”

Jacob: “Same here I need my mate, I want my mate. I really hope we find them soon.”

After the chat with my friends I went indoors to search out my mum cause my parent s don’t yet know that I plan to travel to find my mate. I have to speak to mum because she will help me convince my dad about me leaving but it will be hard.

Liam: “Mum, I need your help to convince dad on something.”

Brooklyn: “What is it dear?”

Liam: “I want to travel around the world to see if I can find my mate.”

Brooklyn: “Okay, and why do you need me to help?”

Liam: “I need your help because you have a way with words and getting dad to agree will be difficult.

Brooklyn: “I see, I will help you on one condition.”

Liam: “Okay, what is it?” (Please don’t be a hard condition.)

Brooklyn: “I need you to contact me once a week to tell me of your progress and as soon as you find her, I must be the first to know.”

Liam: “Okay, that’s reasonable. I promise I will contact you every week and tell you as soon as I find my mate.”

Brooklyn: “One more question. How long do you intend to travel and when are you looking to begin travelling and how many people are you bringing?”

Liam: “Mum, that’s 3 questions. I intend to travel for 6 months as there are many packs around the world that could be my mates pack. I wish to start travelling next weekend to give me time to pack and prepare. I am going to bring Jacob and James, and my bodyguards that will assist when called upon, dad and you can pick a different detail if you wish but that’s everything.”

Brooklyn: “Very well. Let’s go speak to your father, it better to wait till after dinner because he will be exhausted from the day’s work.”
