Episode 12 — Temptation Taken

816 Words
The office was empty, the hum of fluorescent lights the only sound around me. My hands trembled slightly as I typed, but my thoughts were miles away — replaying yesterday, every brush of his lips, every teasing touch, every lingering glance that had set my skin on fire. Then I felt it — the air shifted, and I knew before I looked up. He was there. Standing at the doorway, leaning casually against the frame, that infuriatingly confident smirk curling at his lips. The intensity in his eyes made my pulse spike instantly. “Christine,” he murmured, voice low, deliberate, almost predatory. “Working late… or just pretending to?” I swallowed hard, trying to steady my voice. “I… I’m finishing some files,” I whispered, though every nerve in me screamed at his nearness. He took a step closer, and the office seemed to shrink around us. “You’re always so… diligent,” he said, brushing past my desk. His hand brushed mine accidentally — or maybe not — and the spark that shot through me was undeniable. “I… I need to finish,” I said softly, even as my body betrayed me, aching to feel more of him. He smirked, leaning closer until his lips were almost grazing mine. “Christine,” he whispered, voice low, rough with desire, “we’ve been dancing around this for too long. Don’t you want to stop pretending?” I could barely breathe. “I… I don’t know if I… should…” “Shh,” he murmured, pressing his finger lightly against my lips. “You don’t have to think. Just feel.” Before I could protest, he leaned in and kissed me — slow, deliberate, claiming. My body pressed against his, every nerve on fire. I trembled, hands reaching for him, gripping his shoulders, needing him closer. Every touch was intoxicating, every brush of lips sending heat racing through me. He pulled back slightly, smirking against my lips. “Do you feel that?” he whispered. “The pull? The ache? That desire you’ve been trying to ignore?” “Yes…” I breathed. “I feel it.” “Good,” he murmured, pressing his body against mine. “Because tonight… I’m taking the rules into my hands.” Then he kissed me again, deeper this time, pressing me against the edge of my desk. My hands tangled in his shirt, pulling him closer as our lips moved together in a fiery, desperate rhythm. The office lights cast shadows across his face, highlighting every angle, every curve, every dangerous line of his jaw. His hands roamed over my back, sliding down to my waist, pulling me impossibly close. Every touch made my body ache, every breathless gasp echoing in the empty office. I trembled beneath him, heart hammering, utterly consumed by the heat of the moment. He pulled back just enough to whisper in my ear, lips brushing against my skin: “Christine… you belong here with me, in this tension, this desire, this… fire.” “I…” I gasped, unable to finish, body trembling as he kissed me again, fingers threading through my hair, pulling me into him. The desk beneath me felt like the center of the world as he pressed closer, hands exploring, lips teasing, every inch of contact sending shivers through me. I was lost — utterly, completely — and I didn’t want to be found. “Tonight,” he murmured, lips brushing against my jaw, “the game changes. I decide the rules. I decide the pace. And Christine… I decide how far we go.” I shivered, voice barely audible. “I… I want… to…” He silenced me with a kiss — slow, deliberate, impossible to resist. My hands roamed over him, pulling, touching, aching to feel every part of him. Every movement, every brush of his lips, every press of his body against mine was a command, a temptation, a test — and I was helplessly compliant. When he pulled back, smirk tugging at his lips, he whispered: “This is just the beginning, Christine. The games, the desire… it’s only going to get more intense. More daring. More… impossible to resist.” I trembled, chest heaving, body on fire. “I… I can’t… stop,” I admitted, voice raw. “Exactly,” he whispered, lips brushing mine again. “And you won’t. Not now. Not ever.” We kissed again, longer, deeper, passion building with every second. The office had disappeared. There was only us — the heat, the tension, the intoxicating desire that had been simmering since the very first day. By the time we pulled apart, both breathless, I realized the truth: I was completely, irreversibly caught. The game had escalated. The rules had been broken. And Christine had surrendered entirely to the pull, the fire, and the temptation he embodied.
