I woke up and she was gone. I thought we had gotten past this, but it seems not. I hate when she disappears like this. I hope once she's free of Alester that she won't disappear from me this way again. I missed feeling her small body against my own already.

I let her words replay in my head over and over. They were words I didn't realize I needed to hear until she said them. I love her unequivocally and irecably. She's my everything and I plan to keep the promise I made to her. I need to improve my life in order to keep that promise.
