Kellan's P.O.V.
It was nice seeing and talking with everyone this afternoon. Zerena said exactly what we all needed to hear. I don't know how she was able to say that to us like that. She's so damn strong all around, but it seems more so emotionally right now.
I currently have this big beaming joy in my heart. I swam down the way my father taught me. I could see the bright lights of the city lighting up the dark ocean floor. I know I am still good on time for the party, so I'll head to the house first and fix myself up. Time to clean my tail and put the wax stuff on. Hopefully that'll help brighten my own scales.
I did like my father instructed and coated my scales with a good helping of wax. They were so shiny it was almost blinding. My upper body was toned well, showing my abs off.
