Kiran's P.O.V.
I worked on a few more cars, easily accomplishing my tasks. I've learned a lot working on Betty through the years. It made working on other cars easier, although I did have to Google some diagrams as not all cars are laid out the same, especially the fuel pump.
"Let's go phoenix boy. We're closing shop, you can finish this tomorrow." Jay wrapped his arm over my shoulder again and pulled me towards the locker room.
I sighed, really wanting to finish now, but I knew this would take a couple hours more to finish. I let Jay guide me and we changed and washed off. I still had some oil on the beds of my fingernails that I couldn't seem to get off no matter how hard I washed, part of the job I guess.
"Follow me." Jay led the way outside and into the tree line near the garage
