I thought I had lucked out when they told me that Shay and Ezekiel's daughter had been found and returned. I remember being introduced to her as a baby when I was only 4 years old. She was beautiful even then, with those piercing lilac eyes and dark black hair. Although that deep purple she has dyed it suits her better. I never would have thought she would have found her intertwined already. It's so rare, but only because we never really leave the shadow colony.
Now here I am ruining her life when that's the last thing I'd ever wanted. She's been through so much already and here I am making it worse. Damn Isaac.
