I stood there baffled, looking at the now empty spot where Bella was standing just now.
My shoulders slumped in defeat thinking I couldn't convince her to let me come with her. She is alone and it will be hard to take the victor down.
“ It's okay,” Damien said, coming behind me as he patted my shoulder.
“ She is powerful,” her uncle said.
“ Still she is alone,” I said . My voice was firm. I am mad at him for not letting me know any of these before he told Bella.
“ She is more powerful than you, your highness. You don't know this right now but you will and shall see why I let her go alone when she is the only hope for our country,” he said. Looking at the sky out of the large window facing the lawn.
