From the corner of my eyes I saw Evelyn walk past me towards the unconscious Luca.
She began her ritual, closing her eyes. As soon as she began chanting I saw Luca was groaning in pain as cuts were visible on his body. Her shirt was torn and the skin on his chest above his heart was ripping slowly causing the blood to ooze out of the wound.
“ Arggghhh,” Luca screamed in pain and agony.
Tears rolled down from my eyes looking at the horrific scenario.
I closed my eyes and shook my head struggling with whatever that was holding me down. I wanted to help him, I wanted to save him. He is the last member of his family.
“ Stop!!!”I screamed on top of my lungs, breaking the enchantment. Her head snapped at me, narrowing her eyes and she looked at me with her soulless gaze.
