Lucas' POV
"Why did you reveal the truth, you i***t!" I said, trying desperately to catch up to her as she ran. Ever since I had gained my powers, I never had to flee. But now I was fleeing for my life.
"The truth? Only you know if I told the truth." The woman who was standing beside him spoke slowly and deliberately. She was bewitching to look at.
"What do you think would happen if I told your darling son everything?"
"Are you f*****g crazy?" The woman laughed brazenly, I gritted my teeth tightly to hold myself back from punching her.
Damn it, no one has ever been able to threaten me like this, but this woman is still useful to me for now. So I'll put up with it. But once I take care of some things, it will be her turn to suffer.
