I wiped the blood of that scoundrel off of my face. I almost killed him another time out of pure anger. But it'd be a waste of bullets and energy.
Moving on to my next target, I almost scared him away with the blood of his alpha, probably. I growled at that wolf, a guttural sound that Luna emitted to release that inner tension.
"MASTER!" Suddenly, the familiar voice was heard from literally the other side of the training ground. The huge space was so riddled with corpses and blood that I couldn't even recognize it was the training ground.
"JIA!" I screamed, my heartbeat thudding against my chest now. The feeling...I hated it.
It was the same as when I heard the news of my mother's passing. Chilling. Numbing. Nothing good about it kind of a feeling.
