True that I had no proof to show them, to back up my words. They had no reason to trust me. I was in turmoil myself for the past two months. Even Dad couldn't know my rank at birth.
What was my mother plotting since my birth that way? Hiding my wolf's true rank from the world to save me? To humiliate me?
I know she couldn't do the latter even in her dreams. She might have been a mildly absent parent in my life, given her workload and her duty as Silverclaw's Beta...but what was her intention in hiding my true rank?
