Luther returned home and found his wife coiled up in a corner gnashing her teeth in pain.
"What's wrong honey?" Did anyone attack you? He bombards her with questions.
"My...my...waist..is...hurting get the nurse" Liah shouted, gnashing her teeth in pain, Luther made to rush out and get the car keys but Liah grabbed his shirt in pain, "Where are you going?" She asked her husband, Luther ruffled his hair in frustration,
"Honey I need to get my car keys to take you to the hospital," He said and Liah nodded her head.
They got to the hospital and the nurses rush out and guide her to the labor room, she was in labor for hours with no sign of the baby coming, Liah was already weak and tired of pushing, she said she can only push if all the nurses live the labor room with only the head nurse in, they obey and they all left with only one nurse who was the head of the nurses,
"Why did you do that?" The nurse asks her, but Liah ignored her and push the baby with her last strengths,
"Ahh……" She pushed and the cry of a baby girl was heard, Liah carried her baby which the nurse put into her hands, with adoration in her eyes, admiring the beauty, that the moon goddess blessed her with but hot tears stream down her eyes when she saw the mark of the last sentinel on her baby's back, she wipes her tears with her hands, she already prepared for it.
"Why are you crying ma," The nurse asked her, but Liah ignored her and put the baby in her hands,
"What's your name?" Liah ask her,
"Maria" the nurse answered,
"Please Maria, look at my baby's back there is a mark there," Liah told her, and the nurse gasped in shock when she saw the mark of the last sentinel on the baby.
"You know what It means already?" Liah asks and the nurse and she nods her head,
"It's the mark of the last sentinel, the last of our kind," Liah told the nurse,
"I already saw it in a vision, that is why I came to our pack's hospital to deliver my baby, I don't want to go to any random hospital, to avoid gossip," Liah said to the nurse,
"Please take my child and go far away from here where nobody can recognize her, she will be called "Lyla," Liah said to the nurse and she nodded.
"You don't have a child, right?" Liah asks the nurse and she nods in agreement,
"Don't ask how I got to know about you" Liah told the nurse and she nod in agreement, take Lyla and raise her as your own, love her as your own and when It's time for her to know who she is please help her,
"Can you do that?" She asks the nurse,
"Yes ma, but what will I tell your husband?" The nurse asks her,
"Just tell him that my baby is dead I will handle the rest," Liah said in determination, and the nurse nod and hug her before living through the back door, she came back without the child and tell Liah's husband, that the baby is dead before walking off
Luther rushed into the theatre and hugged his wife in a comforting manner,
"It's fine honey we will make another baby" he comforted his wife.
"Only if you know that our baby is alive but cannot live with us," Liah thought to herself and cried, ``why does destiny decide to play a prank on us?
"Why can't I live peacefully with my baby" she shouted in tears but Luther patted her back, not understanding the true meanings of her words.
They went home, and Luther tried cheering her up but she kept on crying none stop, to her she wasn't crying because her baby is dead, but she is crying because Luther has been waiting endlessly for this day to come and the thought of not giving him what he has been yearning for... shatters her heart.
"I'm sorry that I couldn't fulfill your wishes," She said cupping Luther's face in her hands but Luther grabbed her hands from his face and kiss her tenderly on the forehead,
"It's not your fault honey and it's nobody's fault," he said to her,
"So stop blaming yourself, another baby will come," he said and Liah smiled before laying her head on Luther's chest, while Luther caressed her hair lovingly and she fell asleep.

An old woman with gray hair that was nearly reaching the floor was seen sitting down on the floor with beads in her hand and candlelight surrounding her with her eyes all white shining like a diamond and was chanting unknown language of words, suddenly she closed her eyes and open them again and its color turned green, "the last sentinel has been" she said and smile with hope visible in her eyes.

After Liah fell asleep Luther went into the kitchen to prepare something for her to eat.
"I'm feeling pain because I know how I planned to spoil and pamper my child, but I can't be weak, I need to be strong to comfort my wife, if I break down nobody will comfort each other and I don't like it when she's in pain," Luther thought to himself, the cooker beep signaling that the food is ready, Luther off the cooker and bring the pot of lasagna and dish out some portion of it in a plate, he opened the fridge and collected an orange juice with a glass cup and put them in a tray before taking them to their room.
He came to find Liah all awake,
"Honey I have been looking for you," Liah said pouting her lips in a babyish manner, and Luther started laughing, she frowns her face more and he couldn't control his laughter anymore, he drop the food on the table beside their bed and she threw a pillow at him but he was fast enough to miss it,
"Do you want to kill me, honey," Luther said sitting beside his wife on the bed, and she scoffed.
He brought the food and drop it on his laps and start feeding her with it,
"Stop looking at me like that," He said when Liah keeps staring at him non-stop,
"Can't I admire my husband?" she asked with love in her eyes,
"You can," Luther said but she caught him off guard when she grabbed his face and crashed her lips on his, he was thrown off guard but later start to reciprocate the kiss, she breaks the kiss and he blush because of the way she was staring at me,
"Are you blushing?'' she asked and shaped his head in denial, but his silly face grew more reddish embarrassing him and he covered his face with his hands,
"Stop honey," He said in shyness,
"Wow, I never knew my baby could be this cute," Liah said to Luther but he scoffed, she took the spoon from him and started feeding him.
"Thank you for being the best husband I could ever ask for'' Liah said looking Luther in the eyes, with tears in her eyes, he grab her face with his two hands and place kisses all over her face kissing away her tears, and she smiles,
"Never you forget that I love you and that's what matters," he said to her and she nodded her head. He engulf her in a hug and with her hands tightly wrapped around his waist, the sound of Luther's mobile phone got their attention and they disengage from the hug, he swipe the green Icon on his screen, and Lucian's voice booms in,
"Luther you need to be at the Packhouse now the Alpha wants to see all of us," Lucian said.
"Okay" Luther replied and hang up, he told his wife about it and she agreed for him to go, he kiss her briefly on the lips before rushing off, but he ran back and grab his car keys and rush out, well he's the C.E.O of Crown empire and also one of the richest and strongest wolf warriors
