As Karen challenged me in front of the gathered pack members, her voice growing louder and more confrontational, I remained calm and collected. Her audacity was nothing new to me; I had dealt with her antics for far too long to be intimidated now.
"I appreciate your audacity, Karen, but I'd love it if you get out of my face..." I began to respond, but she cut me off with a daring challenge.

I lifted my head to meet her gaze, staring her down with unwavering composure. "Where's my son?" She demanded through clenched teeth, her voice rising.
