That was the first time that Aaliyah was in despair. Fortunately, Colin was born. Ellie protected Colin and her. But Aaliyah had nothing to feed Colin. Aaliyah was too thin to breastfeed her baby. She could only rely on the little relief Kiley gave her to keep Colin alive.
Kiley asked Aaliyah to call her family to pick Colin up.
But Aaliyah had no relatives. The only one she could ask for was Alpha Landen.
For the next month, Aaliyah used Kiley's phone to call Alpha Landen. She did not get through until Colin had a high fever that night. Aaliyah was frightened, and the phone finally connected. It was not Parker who answered the phone, but the secretary.
