Alana (POV)
I woke to find myself alone and tested myself as I slowly sat up. There was a little dizziness, but it was manageable. I put my legs over the side of the large bed and looked around. It was then I realized I was in this room before. It was the same room as in my dream when the bond was to have happened. Looking around I put my hand to my heart and heard footsteps walking toward the bedroom. Gabe walked in carrying a tray with a ceramic teapot and a couple of cups along with a sandwich.
“How are you feeling?” He asked me as he set the tray down on the side table near the bed.
“It really happened.” I began and saw he stiffened as he stood and turned back to look at me. “The dream I mean. The one that created the bond. I was in this room when it happened.”
