When she told me she accepted my offer under a couple of conditions, I was ready to give her anything she asked for and more. I didn't want to, no, scratch that, I couldn't be away from her anymore. And it was obvious that staying at Blood Moon was causing her immense pain. I always liked Ryder, but he should have handled things differently.
They sure took their time getting to the Council, with each day I was getting more and more restless. When they finally arrived it was as if everything brightened up around me. I felt like smiling for no reason, we were beginning a new chapter, together this time. I absolutely loved the way she was not intimidated by Calder, even giving him a piece of her mind. But I guess I loved absolutely everything about her.
