After my near death experience I can't fall asleep. This sucks! I'm so used to sleeping while traveling that I don't know what to do with myself when I'm awake. I try to find a more comfortable position across the two seats, but nothing helps. I wonder if Gabriel's presence would change anything. I would lay across his muscular thighs and he would caress me gently... s**t, I miss him already!
"Hey, Em. Can we talk?" I turn around and see that both Rose and Knox are right behind me.
"Sure, what's up?" I look at them expectantly. They exchange glances and then Knox blurts out, "What's happening between you and Gabriel?" Where is this coming from?
"You know what's happening between us," I reply confused.
"Are you two mates?" Rose asks.
"No. I don't think so, he would have told me, right?
