Meredith's POV
Dinner is amazing, beyond amazing, even if I do feel slightly invisible between Killian and Bella, so many questions so little time, apparently.
It would also be a much better experience without the two sets of eyes on me.
Cole's I don't mind, kind of even like, but Lily's.... Lily's I could definitely do without.
"You'll have to excuse me" I say, Bella standing up beside me as I do.
"We've had a long day" I lie, because I'm not truly tired, I'm just ready to get the hell away from her.
"But you can't go yet... we ... we haven't even had dessert" Killian says quickly, eyes on Bella instead of me.
"Oh I can't" I say holding my stomach, "But Bella, you stay, I'm sure I'll find my way".
Bella looks subtly over to Lily, her eyes boring into mine before turning back to me
